”This building is definitely old and has some wear but that only adds to the character and charm. Even though the room was small, it had everything we needed and some extra special touches, like a chocolate left bedside and tissues on both sides of the bed. It was cozy and homey. The snack area was well stocked and had an amazing variety to choose from for a late-night bite. But the best part about the experience was breakfast served in the dining room by Julia. Each breakfast came on its own...

”We had an excellent experience at the Lamplighter. The hosts were fantastic, friendly and helpful. Attention to detail was amazing, from the special and delicious breakfast, attending to our dietary preferences, to the beautiful decor in the house and the offered amenities. It was a quiet and convenient location, very walkable to restaurants and attractions. Lovely rooms, common areas and grounds. We would love to return!”

”5 stars is not enough for our experience at Cartier Mansion! The keyless entry to both the building and our room made check-in seamless. The room was so beautifully designed and had everything we could need, including a large glass bottle of water and two delicious chocolates. There were robes and mugs that we could take without having to go buy from the gift shop, it would simply be added to our bill. We were so lucky that both mornings of our stay we had the pleasure of being the only guests...

”Amenitities were great! We were able to get our towels and garbages replaced when needed, cafetieria area had extra plates and napkins when needed as well!”

”I cannot say enough great things about this trip. Very close to the beach and downtown. Chris, Jenna, Meredith and Carson were all so amazing to meet and took really good care of us. The breakfast were so delicious and made us excited to get ready for the day. We will definitely be back to this beautiful house and town.”

”Upon arriving checkin was easy, Hostess was kind and helpful. Its cost friendly but keep in mind no breakfast but plenty in town to go to or get it delivered, coffee provided in room and in common room. The King Room is clean, spacious and relaxing. Great Tv too. Thanks so much!”
