”I don’t usually leave property reviews, and I tend to avoid places without a host check-in due to past bad experiences. However, I must say the check-in process was the easiest I’ve come across, clear instructions and codes made it seamless. The room was a delight and had everything I needed. ”The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped ( even a cafetiere ). Finding that there was a sofa bed was good. The approach along the stairs isn't wonderful, a bit drab and unloved but once in the apartment, all is good. There is some street parking right outside the Stratford and we were lucky and bagged a space, otherwise free parking nearby in other streets. ”

”Tranquil location, very well equipped. We had a very pleasant three nights. Beautiful grounds and next to West Stow Hall. Nice, private seating area outside. Very close to Anglo-Saxon Village (though when we went in early May the riverside footpath was closed for safety/repairs - so just a five minute drive instead). No local shops or pubs in walking distance - stock up before you go - but Bury is a 10-15 drive.”

”I greatly enjoyed the combination of comfort, beautiful Yurt interior and outdoor living for 4 days. The wood burner gets the Yurt very cosy in a short while if it is chilly. Charlie was very helpful and considerate. There is some noise from the passing road but the views and secluded position more than make up for that. I would happily return.”
