Classically Cape Cod in both style and setting, this sweet cottage in Harwich Port sits just a few blocks from Earle Road Beach. Spend your days riding bikes around the neighborhood, playing lawn games outside in the yard, and hosting summer barbecues on the sunny patio.

This home sits on a spacious piece of property on a quiet, dead-end road, making it especially well-suited to families with children. Use the provided bikes (one adult-size, two kid-size) to ride half a mile to Earle Road Beach each morning, where you can swim in the warm waters of Nantucket Sound. You'll also be half a mile from Bud's Go-Karts (with bumper boats, putt-putt, and trampolines as well), and less than a mile from shops and restaurants in the center of Harwich Port.

Stroll home from the beach in the afternoon to rinse off in the outdoor shower, hang your swimsuits on the clothesline, and stash the provided beach chairs for tomorrow. Light the gas grill for an early dinner, watch your kids play tag in the grass, and sit down to eat at the patio table at sunset.

The interior is as charming and classic as they come, boasting the original knotty pine walls throughout. Yet the house has also been thoughtfully updated with refinished hardwood floors, a new ceiling, new lighting, an updated bathroom, and all new beds and mattresses. Stream movies in the living room each evening, gather in the sunroom to play cards or Xbox One, and fix mugs of hot cocoa in the well-equipped kitchen.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
