Harbor on pieni, mutta ranta on leveä! The 'Harbor "on vapaasti seisova yhden huoneen tehokkuus Cabana, sisustettu Tommy Bahama / Margaritaville vibe. Se on ulkopuolella rivi klusterin neljäkymmentä pieni Cabanas. Sen ominaisuuksia ovat queen kapteenin vuode, queen size vetäytyminen vuodesohva, ja täydellinen keittiö. Keittiö on täysin varusteltu kaikki mukavuudet kotona. Suurin käyttöaste on kolme henkilöä. Harbor on kolme ulkopuolella kannet, top kannet on hämmästyttävä merinäköala! Perfect Cabana for 2

Exactly like the pictures and descriptions! Love the proximity to the beach and the ease of walking there. Great location to everything in the area. Perfect for a couple and will definitely be returning

Great stay!

This was a perfect space for a couple, right on the beach, quiet and relaxing. I msg the host prior to the trip & didn’t hear back which worried me a little but everything was great. Full kitchen was nice, check-in & out process was easy. Would definitely stay again, thank you for the hospitality!

Hatteras Get Away

Checked in online. Kitchen facilities were good. All decking and steps are about to fall down. Very unsafe! Promised amenities were not available. Beach chairs, outside waterhose, coffee, creamer etc not available. The property office said that unit 5 was not there property. But the walk to the beach was as promised. Be aware of unit 5 it is dangerous!

The Cabana could use some major TLC and maintenance. It's saving grace was that it was in an amazing location. There was black mold in the bathroom, exposed rusty nails and screws on the decking and stairs, rust on the blinds, light fixtures and door frames, and broken benches and very loose railings on the front deck. You were provided one towel and was cloth per person, so I recommend bringing your own. They also only provided a single roll of toilet paper for two people for an entire week, so you'll probably be purchasing that as well. Pretty much bring whatever you might need with you or plan on buying it when you get there.

Beach makes everything okay

Cute, small bungalow 5 cottages from beach. Flight of stairs to entry door, another flight to an upstairs balcony where you can see the ocean. Step stool required to get into bed and for access to cupboards top shelves. Bath tub also with high side challenging when stepping over to get out safely. Note: we are short people (not midgets). A couple of concerns for safety: loose board on top of stairs, another on front porch bench which is completely loose. Colander and knife set have peeling red paint and are really in need of replacing. And finally, there are no oven mitts. Don’t usually carry those on vacation, so may want to add those in your bag if planning to use the oven or microwave. As noted, the beach is so great and location is convenient to everything you need.

Maintance Issues

Thought we would go to the beach during the winter to experence Hatteras when it was quiet. Overall experence was good. The sliding door at the front of the cabana was tilted and didn't slide competely closed so it was very cold the first night. then I stuffed towels in the cracks that helped. The toilet insides were rusted and the flapper would not shut properly, so everytime we flushed the toilet we needed to take off the top and push it in the sealed position. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The beach is awesome. Watching the sun rise and seeing the vast array of stars at night was breath taking. Drove up and down the outter banks and saw the four major lighthouses.

Terrible

The description online isn't accurate. It states there is an ocean view. The only thing you can see is the top of the other roofs from the very top deck. There is no hot tub and that is reason I chose the location. There is so many maintenance issues that needed to be addressed; loose boards on the stairs, no outside deck light had to change light bulb, no light in the main area, broken water hydrant, toilet runns nonstop, scratched furniture, and burn marks on coutertop. There are also cleanliness issues as well; a couple pairs of socks found. I contacted the host but I never received a response back. The short walk to the beach was the only positive to staying here.

Maintenance needs

There were several maintenance issues that need attention. The stairs leading to the unit had loose boards with nails protruding. There was black mold on the shower curtain and shower head. The shower drain was very slow. The shower driped continuoslyThe HVAC filter appeared to be very dirty.

Not Accurate Listing

Wish I could submit photos. Upon arrival there was a black bin with a yellow lid that said “Welcome package” that only appeared to have dirty towels in it, so we left it and the next morning it was gone. The exterior looked super dirty and not in any way up-kept. Immediately noticed there was no screen door, though all other cabanas had one. The screen over the one window was ripped nearly all the way off on the bottom edge. The toilet handle was basically ripped out of the toilet and you had to push it into the tank to actually flush. The shower curtains had either mold or soap residue on the interior, not cleaned properly. Bedding did not look washed, pillow cases looked yellowed, top blanket looked a little brown colored. Absolutely zero communication with the property manager, reached out to ask what kind of cooking supplies were available and she took forever to respond. My wife had reached out when the booking was reserved and never got a response. Reached out while we were in the cabana and never got a response. The listing itself was also very misleading by the photos posted. It says oceanfront, it is more of an ocean adjacent location. You can barely see the ocean from the top level and you definitely could not hear it at all. The interior was also much different than what was in the photos, but that’s not really any sort of big deal, but not at all what we expected. Overall, we had a very fun vacation, but the listing was very misleading.

Glamping at its finest ❤️

First time using VRBO, heard horror stories from others regarding key pad to door not working to the location left dirty. This unit was perfect. You can’t come here though expecting it to be like staying in those huge 3 plus level houses. There is no washer and dryer. This was my family’s 14th year staying at the cabana’s, we typically utilize another rental agency but theirs were all booked for our week. Was very nervous to use VRBO, but our stay and the unit was perfect! Thank so much for the extra items too. Most do not have dish soap, dish rags, towels/wash clothes, and sheets supplied, this one did!! We plan our trip like if we are going camping, nothing is guaranteed in the units.

A little disappointing

The place itself was ok. Small, but enough room to move around. They are building 2 huge houses next door, so the construction noise was very loud. Sitting on the deck wasn’t relaxing. Be prepared that there is no laundry on-site. I contacted the owner twice through VRBO and never got a response! Once was about how to get the tv to work. We figured it out, but it was a little tricky. The location is nice. You can walk out to the beach but nothing in Hatteras is walkable. We probably won’t stay here again.
