”This is an older hotel with the rooms being dated but clean. We have stayed here multiple times and would definitely come back. Great location. Friendly staff.”

Advice: make sure you have, or get a link with the room assignment and access code PRIOR to arrival. ”Property was suffering beach erosion after the winter and early storms on the Oceanside. But spectacular view from room and deck on the Oceanside. We should have asked them for a regular coffee pot. Very disappointed that the hot tub was not even warm. We went for beach horseback ride and for 62 yo we sure could have used it. Mgmt tried to get propane for hot tub . But just couldn’t. ”

”Colonial Inn is always a launching point for our OBX trip. They are affordable and convenient for a Friday night stay on the way further south for a following week. We appreciate that they don’t require a 2 night stay and use them regularly as a result.”
