Good location.
Scandic Maritimt is located in the very heart of Haugesund. Views are spectacular. Breakfast was good and internet worked well. Unfortunately, there is some lack of maintenance around the ageing hotel, although some updating has been carried out. First room given to me did not have ceiling lights in working condition. Next room offered to me was like directly from the 1980s, but while internet worked, room was tidy and breakfast was OK, I didint saw any reason to complain. Issue to be worth noted is that the hotel and city of Haugesund is well located: Firms in offshore- and shipbuilding industry are within easy reach from Haugesund, Stavanger and Stord included.
