Overall the property was good. Updated, but we did have several disappointments. There was no view from inside the property. The few windows that they did have looked directly into another unattractive properties. The listing showed no pictures of the exterior, and for good reason. The ocean was across the street, but access was denied due to the street being “private” and warnings about the residents calling the police if you walked down their street. There was major road construction in front of the property that denied access to the beach on the next street over, so “steps from the ocean” in the listing was not even close to accurate. The outdoor seating/BBQ area was unusable due to the cushions being soaked, and covered with mold. Sitting out in the evening is NOT possible here. The washer/dryer was outside on the side of the house which we found to be odd. The washer broke in the middle of washing, but was replaced immediately by the owner. Major cuddos to him for responding so quickly, however we did waste 3 hours of our morning. The location was good, and only 5 minutes from the PCC, and a 20 minute drive to some great snorkeling beaches. The property had a septic system, and you would smell it from time to time. Overall, it served our needs, but we really missed some kind of patio, balcony, or porch. This was not our original pick. We had booked another nearby property with nicer views/amenities, but VRBO doubled booked it. They scrambled to find this.
