”schönes Ambiente, nettes Personal, das Zimmer war recht groß. Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich.”

”We arrived at the VRBO after a bit of difficulty locating the house number as we were not aware of the house number and a letter after it…maybe 7E or something like that. We also thought once you entered the lockbox code the door would unlock. It took quite some time after a cousin drove up to advise there is a key inside the lockbox. Not easy to open. The apartment was very cool and we had to notify the owner who was good enough to come by and advise heat on timers. We asked for that to be...

”We were staying for a nearby ultra marathon in Jedburgh. The house is incredibly spacious and cosy, just what we needed after running 40 miles in the wind and rain. We all had a fantastic stay. It’s in a very peaceful area and the hosts are lovely. We will definitely be back next year.”

”Mike was very helpful to us before we arrived, and the property was very welcoming and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Would stay again.”

”Great property, clean, excellent master bedroom, well equiped, brilliant location and in a peaceful spot, however the hot tub stopped working / went to standby mode and couldnt be used so felt like the one main reason we booked this property and couldnt use it. The stairs are very steep and were difficult to go up and down. Ideal for kielder and surrounding areas. ”

”The public areas were a bit dark and gloomy. The bedroom was hot and stuffy even with the windows open. Some furniture was quite old fashioned but the bed was comfortable enough. The food was OK but lacked better wine choices. The breakfast was a bit too greasy. Staff were friendly and helpful.”

”We had a nice large room and bathroom. Spotlessly clean with a sofa. A welcoming array of tea/coffee with biscuits. Our only slight disapointment was that breakfast was a little greasy . Excellent location with great friendly staff.”

”This was a great location for me to visit Galashiels. Its a lovely old manse building with nice clean big rooms and comfy beds. The owners of the guest house were on site, very friendly and welcoming. I had a sound night's sleep and woke to a lovely cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. I couldn't fault my stay. There is plenty parking but lots of free street parking nearby anyway so no issues there. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.”

”Friendly staff, comfortable bed, great shower and free parking, that is all the essentials.”

”Very nice hotel staff always courteous and polite nice clean comfortable room”
