”There were several things to like about the location and the cabin itself. Very neat and nicely decorated, well stocked with things you'd typically need. It was secluded and quiet and also was a great price. The negatives were the lack of internet access, which we didn't discover until about 11pm when we were ready to settle down and watch one of our favorite shows. I texted the host, but never got a response . . .even in the am. For some reason we didn't get the location and check-in...

”Quiet little cabin and for the most part, pretty nice
The front porch stairs were very unsafe with no handrail which made it difficult for one of the guests to climb. The air conditioner leaked water”

”Great cozy cabin secluded in the woods with everything being 30 mins or less away. The hot tub was great. As other reviews mention be prepared with some dvds to watch. Cell service works but is spotty. The road to the property is rough but is passable. If you want a cabin in the middle of nowhere but still able to get to places quickly, this is a great spot.”

”Nice camp site near Hocking Hills State Park and Lake Logan. Cabins are very nice and clean. Lots of upgrades were made within the last year making it a more pleasant camping location. Great place to stay if you have kids. One recommendation for the owners is to trim the trees/brush at the fishing location near the kayak launch.”

”This was the perfect little cabin for our quick getaway with our dogs. We were only 20 mins from Hocking Hills where we did a lot of hiking. The cabin was clean and very cute. The bed was super comfortable and the hot tub was great! It was a very peaceful setting and we loved having the fire pit to sit around at night. We would definitely stay again!”

”The gravel drive that the cabins are on is absolutely horrible. Iv never been on a drive that bad before. There are pot holes everywhere and they are super deep. There are steep hills to go up and down and it’s honestly nearly impossible to do if you don’t have a 4x4. It was only stated in the winter one is needed. I believe it’s needed all year road. I appreciate the owners upgrading me to the closest cabin. That was very nice of them. However I went to look at my car and there are literally...

”From the moment we walked in, with a lovely scent and lovely music playing, Carps Cabin welcomed us to our weeklong stay. All our needs were met and the inside and outside of the cabin was seriously beautiful. Close to the Hocking Hills caves and activities, it was the perfect place to stay and we highly recommend it.”

”Cozy little cabin with lots of privacy. Bed was comfortable but it only had 2 pillows on it so if you sleep with extra pillows you may want to bring them with you. The hot tub was nice but heavily chlorinated so be prepared for that. Overall nice little cabin that my wife and I enjoyed very much.”
