Spacious cabin with numerous bedrooms and bathrooms just steps from the lake! Two private docks, a pool table, or a short walk to The Dock (and its ice cream shop!) add to the fun. A five minute kayak trip brings you to Powell's Bar and Grill and a short drive delivers multiple golf courses, a casino, numerous restaurants and shopping. Enjoy the popular Tamarack Farms Winery just a quarter mile away.

Access to ATV and snowmobile trails.

Host was great, super responsive and helpful when we had an issue with the water pressure and a neighbor. We did have an issue at the end of our trip with some guests getting bug bites all over, unsure if it was bed-bugs or not. Host was responsive about the issue, but no offer for partial refund. We also had no technical proof and didn’t ask as we had to leave with a big storm rolling in. Best thing about this place was the property manager and host quick response and willingness to help if needed.

Family Vacay 2024

This place was perfect for our family with a mixture of adults, teens and young kids, the amount of space was great! Would have been nice to have a little more flat yard space for outdoor games but the lake offered the perfect place to hang out.

It's a wonderful house and location. We love the house - lots of room, perfectly clean and has everything we need. It's a great location - easy to find and close to shopping, restaurants and family fun. And the lake is beautiful!

Family get away

Wonderful stay!!! property manager responded very quickly to questions and provided things that we needed. Lots of space and activities for everyone to be involved in. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, hiking, golfing and competitive card games. Would consider coming again.

Large cabin on big round

We enjoyed the size of the cabin. We had 8 adults and 8 children and had plenty of room. We did have 1 issue and that was all beds had acorns in them. We were able to rewash the bedding so we made it work. Kids caught a bunch of fish ice fishing. Lots of Northern and Large mouth bass.

Family vacation

There was 14 of us plenty of room for us great set up had everything you could possibly want including kayaks, which were awesome and a standup paddleboard. It was a little warm one night, but otherwise the fans are appreciated and kept at cool! Couple of notes just when you're driving there it's right behind the dock for location finding it and then also had lots of boats and lots of cars, and there was room for all of it! Great stay thank you so much!

Great Place For Large Gathering

This place is WONDERFUL!

We had a total of 9 people, all family staying this year. We've been coming to Hayward for over 45 years with our family. This year, we had extended family join us so we had to upgrade to something bigger. This place is amazing! We literally got lost in the house when touring it upon our arrival LOL. The woodwork is beautiful, every room was interesting and beautifully decorated and just right for our taste. The weather was great and we went swimming, tried out the paddleboard and I kayaked for the first time in my life - I'm 53! ;) We caught fish and enjoyed our evenings watching Breaking Bad (my Dad) and playing board games and dice on the nice big kitchen table which supported all of us. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The communication was perfect with the property owner and very accommodating to us. There is one thing I can mention is that tree right smack dab in the front door really needs to be trimmed, or even better, just removed. You have to walk around it to grab the handle to open the door. THANK YOU for a great vacation in Hayward, WI - our favorite place to be. Already looking forward to 2024 :)

Great for a group!

Incredible place for a group - convenient, spacious, comfortable. The owners and property managers are super kind, super responsive, and super helpful. The kids and adults all have a blast. We love it and can't wait to come back next year!

Perfect for our family holiday!

Plenty of room for our group! Not a property issue, but Google maps brought up to a location 6-8 miles away with the physical address we were given! I would suggest mapping to The Dock Bar and Grill instead as the cabin is directly behind there. The dishwasher was broke, but i was given notice before arriving and when we got there the owner had left a hand-written apology and a $50 gift certificate for the restaurant next door. That was an unexpected but very much appreciated gesture! The only thing that could have made our stay better was if the fish had been biting better!

A nice place for a family gathering

We have a large family and have the tradition of an annual family gathering - parents, 5 adult siblings and the spouses/children of each sibling. This house worked out perfectly for the purpose of our gathering, allowing each adult/couple to have their own room, and the room with the bunk beds and futon by the upper porch were used for the children. We ate all of our meals in, and there was plenty of space for cooking and prepping meals, as well as adequate seating for eating the meals as a family. The home was well-stocked, accurate with the description on the listing. The property managers Jeff and Sheila were great and available via text. We were able to rent a pontoon through Riverwood Rentals (via Jeff and Sheila), which further enhanced our stay and allowed us to better-explore Round Lake. We had a great time and would recommend staying here! Thanks for everything!
