”We drove the blue ridge parkway + skyline drive, so the hotel was conveniently located. Parking was easy and breakfast was good. Room smelled a bit weird and could use some renovation. Wifi worked fine. All in all suited well for one night quick stop.”

”They didnt had hot water for the showers, it was warm, but never got hot. They dont do room service, only if you stay more that 4 nights. I stayed 3 nights, so requested to have a room service after the 2nd night, they said just to come to the front desk that morning and request it. ”The bad experience began when we pulled in and I tought the place was abandoned. The exterior looked sad and worn down. We wen to the office at 5:30 pm and no one was there, apparently check in between 3:30 and 5 if you'd like to actually talk to someone. We did receive an email explaining the check in procedure but as we were traveling in the State Park were there is little to no service we did not receive anything until we drove away from the motel and into the town where we finally got...

”This hotel was perfect during my 2-night stay. Everything was clean in both the room and common areas and the free hot breakfast was great. Overall everything seemed properly attended to and well-managed by the staff. The attached Mexican restaurant was also fantastic, providing a super convenient spot on property to have dinner. ”Room was clean and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The rooms are dated but everything was clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable and our linens and towels were fresh. Great find especially for the price. We would definitely stay again. ”
