”We wish we had discovered this place years ago as we have been making this trip 2 or 3 times a year using a hotel near Lille. This charming house is so much better and the welcome from the charming Marie-Odile was lovely. So much care has gone into the preparation of the accommodation and the breakfast, largely using home-grown items, was exceptional. I am sure we shall find a reason to come here again.”

”Our hostess, Sophie has been excellent with local places of interest including some local restaurants.
Our “villa” was very comfortable and fresh with a queen sized bed.
Our stay was made very enjoyable, even the local patisserie/boulangerie were welcoming.
We even bought some of Sophie’s porcelain ”

”Bel endroit pour un séjour Affaires. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins et il y règne un calme absolu qui permet de se reposer ou travailler sans être derangé. Le Lac du Héron est tout près et offre de beaux paysages bucoliques pour une marche ou un tour à vélo. ”

”A little corner of England but on the continent. This is a unique property that almost feels like a privilege to stay in given the history and how it has been preserved. After a week on the continent drinking coffee, it was a massive relief to get a nice pot of tea served with a cup and saucer!!”

”For a one night, quiet place to stop off on my journey with my dog, it was perfect. Not much room, but totally worth it - Best shower I have had in a long time and all renovated recently so it was a pleasant environment.
Lovely surroundings for walking.
Will stay again if I'm passing. ”
