”Property was spotless. Excellent communication. Location perfect-could walk to a winery and the battlefields of Antietam. Many extras- Latte machine. Outside area very comfortable with beautiful views. Dog friendly. Really enjoyed our stay. ”

”We really enjoyed our stay in this Civil War era home. Very clean with plenty of towels and soaps. It had a good location in Sharpsburg. We walked to the bakery (twice), the ice cream shop and the library. Easy access to the Antietam Battlefield. Appliances worked as expected. We have stayed in numerous period homes and this home was by far the best equipped for preparing meals in the kitchen. Wi-Fi was very good and strong throughout the home. Great place to stay in Sharpsburg.”

”They were truly great in communicating with us about our pet. The hot tub was perfect for evening relaxation. The house could have used a good cleaning as there were cobwebs and such about, but it wasn't anything that made us feel unclean. ”

”The host did not respond to messages before we checked in. At check-in the backdoor to the house was unlocked and opened. When we got into the house, there was rotten and expired food in the fridge, stuff all over the counters, dirty dishes in the sink and dishwasher, dirty laundry in the washer and on top, and there was no heat. There were space heaters placed throughout the house, which was a total safety liability. We reached out to the host with our concerns and we never got a response. I...

”Large house with spacious comfortable rooms. Front porch was a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. Beds were very comfortable. Every bedroom had its own bathroom. House was within walking distance to downtown and some good restaurants. Would stay at this house again. ”
