Hostellit – Hegoalde

”When we arrived after a day's walk on the camino, the bartender was less than friendly, almost surly and advised us to wait for check-in. He was much friendlier the next day but first impressions count. The check-in older woman could have been his mother based on her equally unfriendly lack of welcome, however she too improved over time. The restaurant food was good although the pork knuckle was mostly knuckle but the little pork was very tasty.”

”Amazing staff, property and location. Great experience!”

”Comfortable pension to stay in the old town, and the best, caring landlady ever!”

”Genial, gente sumamente amable”

”I couldn’t even check in because staff couldn’t get ahold of me nor vice versa. Would not recommend”

”Friendly on-line help from staff, property was sufficient for a night, clean enough, and just FYI, it doesn't seem like a hostel at all to me. It has ensuite bathroom. A bit musty and definitely dated, but the price is fair for what you get. Would stay again.”

”Excellent place, great location. Friendly people.”

3,5 km to city. Good bus lines near. Hotel is also student apartment. Walls is very thin..”

”Breakfast was awful but fortunarely it was until 10:30 but there wasnt much else than coffee, bread and cereal. I dont think my room was cleaned even once during 6 nights visit. Best thing about the room is bathroom and worst part is the bed. Place also had gym which was nice and location decent. However the place failed on two major issues; breakfast and bed. Note: Im 29 and used to crappy student meals and sleeping in crappy hostels.”
