”A beautiful, peaceful getaway for couples. Stayed 2 nights and seemed like the perfect timeframe to go for, would highly recommend! Only thing to note would be the road coming onto the property has A LOT of potholes; if you have a sedan or lower car, just be careful or maybe plan ahead.”

”Historic hotel is well located between Katoomba and Blackheath so very easy drive to many sites. Due to age of hotel rooms a little small but functional, the decor even older was well maintained and cosy. Only cons room had to be cleaned again before we accepted it, however the management reacted well and solved the problem. Staff friendly however suggest a bit of training in customer service will work to help make this hotel even better. Overall would recommend this hotel.”

”The best part about this motel was it was warm and cosy. It was also attached to a hotel that served reasonable pub meals. The downside was that it was on a t intersection of a major road through town and large semi trucks were going past throughout the night creating a lot of noise. Basic room with a fridge so you get what you pay for. Ok to put your head down if you are a heavy sleeper.”

”Beautiful historic old fashioned Australian Hotel, very reasonable and ideal room with en-suite for sharing with my son for a hiking trip to the Blue Mountains. Great wholesome food in the restaurant and plenty of options nearby for food.”
