”There was a situation where I was followed by someone on a morning walk nearby the hotel and as soon as I entered the hotel and asked for them to help me, the 2 men at the front desk quickly helped by one going outside to find the man and one immediately calling the police. I felt safe and cared for and although Portland has some bad eggs roaming around I would stay here again because of how safe and cared for the staff made me feel. ”Very easy to check in, the room was clean and cozy, the common areas were also very cozy and well-stocked with everything you could need, especially the kitchen. The restaurant next door was a bit loud at peak time of the evening, but that quieted down by the time we wanted to sleep and from then on it was nice and quiet. No complaints, will be coming back here again! Oh, and parking can be difficult to find in the middle of the day, but it really wasn’t THAT had to find a parking spot, just had...

”I usually enjoy my stays at Hampton Inna, but this one was a bit of a letdown. While valet parking is nice, it was a little awkward for my needs on this occasion. The beds were also a little too soft (perhaps time for a new mattress?). While there was really nothing wrong to specifically point to, after a long day of traveling, it just didn't quite meet the mark I usually associate with Hampton Inn.”

”Arrived around 9:30 AM. We had three couples that needed rooms. Surprisingly the hotel was able to accommodate us all for an early check in and we were thankful for that. A complete surprise. The room was very clean and roomy. The price for a hotel room in the downtown area was super. The shower water was hot and pressure was good. Had breakfast the next day and it was very good with typical pricing. The drinks in the whiskey bar were good and reasonably priced. All in all we would stay here...

”Great place to stay in Portland. Clean and nice room, good gym, great staff and many good restaurants near by in walking distance. Valet parking list price is a bit high, but look for hotel deal including valet for good value. Bed comfort and totally quiet air condition especially well above average. ”

”The electric kettle in the room was broken and the air conditioner made a loud dripping noise all night. But the hotel was cute, staff were helpful, and we had a good breakfast the next day. Not really worth the exorbitant parking fee or additional $30 hotel fee charged. But it has potential.”
