âFirst impression needs to be improved (weeds in front yard, rot on posts, pealing paint). Home has a lot of charm but furnishings could be updated. Would be a good space for family who don't mind an outdated feel.â

âThe property has the most wonderful views from its elevated position. The driveway is steep - but worth it. Imagine beautiful sunsets in front of a roaring fire on the deck in autumn - thatâs what we got. (Not sure if the owners arranged the sunsets, but the fire & indoor wood burner were ready to light.)
Kitchen was stocked with choice of cereals plus milk & juice for breakfast plus other nice touches. There were many appliances & cookware options and a BBQ to boot.

The amenities are modern and the tasty breakfast is served in a cozy dining room. We enjoyed our stay at The Ark and would have loved to stay longer â

âLovely three nights stay at the foot of The Nut. Two nice beaches in immediate
vicinity, a few restaurants and cafes in walking distance make this a perfect place for a family holiday. Nightly penguin visits by the shore. A very interesting Highfield Historic Site is worth a visit (5 mins drive), so is Dipp Falls about 40 mins drive away.â

âI had a lovely separate guest house at the back of the property that did not have a direct view but the beach and penguin viewing platform is literally around the corner so a view from my room was irrelevant. The room was clean, cozy and very, very comfortable. The owners were very welcoming. Also the walk to the top of the Nut starts a couple of blocks from the property. There are limited dining options nearby and sometimes things are closed but what is there is good so it is important to plan...
