Romanttinen 1 BR: n 20 hehtaarin maatila Retreat - lähellä Ashevillea

Mökkimme on lähellä Ashevillea, Chimney Rockia, Lurejärveä ja Historiallista Hendersonvillea Hickory Nut Gorgen monien retkeilyalueiden keskellä. Bearwallow-vuoren juurella sijaitsevassa kiinteistössämme on osittain metsämahdollisuuksia retkeilyreitillä, lampilla ja lampi-vieressä sijaitsevalla piknik-varikolla, jossa on takka. Kalastusta on saatavana sekä lampilamme että Clear Creekissä - valtion taimenvesillä, jotka sijaitsevat kiinteistömme lähellä.

Mökki metsässä on yksi eristäytyneemmistä mökeistämme, ja se sijaitsee 20 hehtaarin kiinteistön metsäosassa. Näet puita molemmin puolin. Saatat välähtää pienen osan toisesta hytistä, mutta muita nähtävyyksiä ei ole näkyvissä. Viimeaikaisista sateista riippuen voit kuulla mökin alla olevan pienen puron, joka virtaa lampiimme.

Peitetyssä kuistilla on keinutuolit, poreallas ja ruokapöytä ulkona. Mökissä on takkakaasu, ilmastointi, satelliitti-TV (peruspaketti) ja DVD-soitin, wifi, mikroaaltouuni, leivänpaahdin, tehosekoitin ja kahvinkeitin. Liinavaatteet, astiat ja keittiövälineet toimitetaan. Mökissä on kaasugrilli.

Vaikka monet vieraat vain rentoutuvat kiinteistöllä koko oleskelunsa ajan, alueella on paljon tekemistä - vaellus Chimney Rock Parkissa, veneretki Lurejärvelle, vierailu historiallisessa Hendersonvillessä, ruokailla monissa loistavissa alueen ravintoloissa vain lyhyen aikaa ajaa pois, käymällä monissa ympäröivissä osavaltioissa ja kansallispuistoissa ja metsissä (Dupont, Pisgah, Blue Ridge Parkway) ja tietysti vierailemassa kuuluisassa Biltmore Estatessa. Ratsastusta on saatavilla alueella, samoin kuin retkiä omenanviljelyalueille, joissa on useita hedelmätelineitä, ja lähellä oleville viinitarhoille.

Kiinteistö on kaunis kaikkina vuodenaikoina: keväällä kukkivat puut, kesälehdet, syksyn värit ja talvella mahdollisesti lunta. Talvi, kun lehdet ovat puiden ulkopuolella, voi olla erityisen mielenkiintoista paljaiden puiden läpi näkyvien lisänäkymien vuoksi.

Perfect quiet weekend getaway. Sooo nice and clean!! Owners were just as pleasant as can be. If you are looking to disconnect for a few days and just relax, this is a great place. Close enough to downtown to go out and grab dinner. Would definitely stay again!!

Nice Lil’ Secluded and Peaceful Cabin in the Woods!

This nice lil’ cabin in the woods made for a very quiet and relaxing long weekend getaway for my husband and I! It was very peaceful, clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was very relaxing. Kaye was very accommodating. She was very helpful and pleasant. We had the pleasure of meeting her and her husband, David, during our stay. Just an fyi… you will definitely want to take a four wheel drive vehicle to this cabin though because the road leading to it is a little rough and is on the steep side in one area. However, we were in my husband’s truck so that wasn’t a problem for us at all.

Peace and quiet

Great place to stay out of the hustle and bustle of chaos. We stayed here 14years ago and loved it time just got away from us to return until now. I don’t know why we didn’t come back sooner! Great log cabin with all the necessities and all quietness you need! Close enough to city but far away enough where you feel far! Recommend highly! The owner is wonderful to speak with as well!

Great Place to Stay!

We loved our weekend in the Cabin in the Woods! It was perfect- clean, cute, and fully stocked with anything you might need! We spent time shopping and dining in downtown Hendersonville and visited nearby Justus Orchards and Pearson’s Falls! The hot tub was wonderful for relaxing after being out for the day. We had no issues getting to our cabin on a small gravel inclined road in our car this time of year; however, as others have said, a truck or SUV would be optimal during seasons that road conditions would be worse. Would definitely stay here again!

This cabin is absolutely perfect. It’s private yet the town is close to a lot of different activities. I could had easy never left the cabin the whole weekend. Definitely recommend for a relaxing get away!

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

This was our second year at Ms. Kaye’s Cabin in the Woods. If you are looking for a cozy secluded cabin in the woods this is your place. The hot tub was great & the cabin is super clean. We will definitely be staying again next year.

Very secluded, private and peaceful. Easy to find. Our host was very attentive. There is a washer/dryer, terrific hot tub, and fishing pond a short 2 minute drive from the cabin, but no dishwasher. Easy drive to Chimney Rock and 15 minute drive into town. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful, quiet getaway

Our home is always very noisy and we wanted a quiet weekend away. This was exactly that! It was clean and well-appointed. A beautiful property surrounded by woods. We heard an occasional plane overhead or car on the distant road but, we primarily listened to the wind in the trees and the birdsong. The cabin was clean. The grill and kitchen appropriately appointed. AC and Hot tub easy to use. We hiked a bit on the property and visited the beautiful pond. Exactly as described. Easy communication with the host. Highly recommend this location if you want a quiet time away. Very close to Hendersonville and Asheville (closer than it seemed on the map) if you want to go into town.

Great Escape from Everyday Life

This little cabin,the whole property in general,is wonderful. The cabin is exceptionally clean,very private, and fully stocked with most of those little things you wish you had sometimes like coffee and filters, cooking oil,bug spray, and even bath robes and slippers. Cell phone service is limited so it provides a great opportunity to check out of reality for a day or two. The pond is excellent for relaxing in nature and the hammock is an added bonus. Its about a 10-15 drive to town,but nothing too inconvenient at all. This was our second time going to the property and I already can't wait to go back again.

Privacy in the woods

Full equipped little cabin with everything you might need. Nice, cozy and clean! Hot tub is a nice treat after a hike or to enjoy the sunrise. Robes and towels are provided. Would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Sitting in a hot tub, on a wooden porch or a really cozy cabin, in the mountains of the North Carolina countryside is just blissful being and glorious living. I loved even our city days coming back to this sweet cabin. During our stay we traveled in every direction for our trip. I would be as bold to say the Cabin in the Woods was perfectly located in every way. A must expirence and highly recommended for the city lights to chill country nights, kind of get away for you

Peaceful Cabin in the Woods w/ Fantastic Hot Tub

My husband & I stayed at The Cabin in the Woods on our yearly visit to Hendersonville. This cabin is perfectly located 15 minutes from both Hendersonville (downtown) & Chimney Rock. The property is just as described a charming little cabin in the woods. Very private with a big porch for morning coffee & a hot tub to relax in after a long day of hiking or seeing the sights. The cabin has everything you need right down to robes & slippers for the hot tub. Kaye was very friendly, and communication was fantastic. The only complaint we had was the Wifi (for streaming tv) was a little slow, but certainly not a major issue. We will defiantly come back to Ms. Kaye's Cabin in the Woods.
