”Outdoor amenities were unmatched. The host really considered each space in the home and made it perfect for guests. The home was extremely clean. Kitchen had all items we needed and more. ”Our family stayed here for a week and loved the house. Everything about it was great, house had everything we needed as far as kitchen, entertainment etc. we brought our boat and tied up to the dock with no issues, private cove in a no wake zone which was very nice. The house layout was also perfect for a large blended family. Jim was easy to communicate with and would stay here again. ”

”Everything written about the home is true, and we had a fabulous family reunion spending the weekend there. The grandchildren loved all the kayaks and paddle board for use on the lake, and we had three outstanding fires each evening. The house was very well stocked with everything imaginable too. We had gorgeous weather and rented a pontoon boat on Saturday, so we had a perfect vacation for sure. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone planning a trip to Lake Gaston.”

”Everything was perfect. We worked with the owner of the property through VRBO and it was very easy to communicate, ask questions and get answers. We visited twice prior to our reservation date to get a feel for who would sleep where of the 40 folks on our list of invitees. The owner was always very accommodating. ”We had a wonderful stay - the house was amazing! We had four families with young adult children and there was plenty of space for everyone. The location on the lake was perfect for just hanging out on the dock, floating in the water, or hoping on our boat for some skiing and tubing. The house had all the amenities you could ask for, just like being at home. Bob and Rosemary were fantastic hosts—very responsive and accommodating. A great time was had by all, and we would absolutely stay again.”
