”I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). ”

”A lovely welcoming and friendly hotel. Reception was excellent and the hotel set it beautiful grounds with abundant wildlife wandering around the onsite golf course. The spa facilities and gym were well up to date and not crowded on our visit. The breakfast was outstanding and we ate in the bar lounge in the evening with a more than adequate menu. All in all a very chilled and relaxing stay. ”
