”Na een ietwat vertraagde ontvangst was de begroeting erg hartelijk en informatief onder het genot van een drankje in de prachtige tuin. Veel spullen en producten uit eigen tuin vinden een plaats in zelfgemaakte gerechten voor het ontbijt of in drankjes.Het ontbijt was voor ons een smaakvol en gezellig moment van ontmoeting met andere gasten en de gastvrouw. ”Check-in process was difficult as reception closes at 6;30 pm. We were unaware of this and the instructions for accessing the property after that hour were not clearly indicated. ”Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Dodgy, loud clientele, dirty & poorly maintained rooms that stank of cigarettes & a very run down exterior. I was surprised my motorcycle was still there in the morning! Positive points are the room had a heater, so I could dry my wet gear, the shower was warmish & sort of worked, the bed was comfy & sheets were clean. Also the lady who checked me in was nice & helpful & there’s a great bar 2 mins away (La Kaverne) Bar is recommended, hotel is not!”
