”Parking was frustrating as giant trucks blocked too many spots in the front and while there is parking in back, there isn’t a rear entrance.”

”Our stay for one night was fine, but it's a rather tired hotel. You can just tell by little things like dirty hallways with old carpet, a wobbly toilet, and old furniture,that it's been around awhile.”

”My stay at this hotel was average. The rooms were okay and met the basic expectations for a comfortable stay. However, the property appears to need maintenance, as several areas look worn and somewhat neglected. The parking lot also seems poorly maintained, which does not create a great first impression. The breakfast buffet is quite limited compared to other hotels in the same category. In addition, the staff could be friendlier and more welcoming to guests. Overall, it is an acceptable place...

”We travelled to Iowa for a weekend stay. All 4 of us loved the convenient location. Breakfast included was a big plus. Staff was great and hotel was clean”

”We were first given keys to an occupied room. They upgraded our room for the inconvenience but I didn’t want a room with a jet tub. The sheets and pillow cases were stained. The breakfast was extremely limited, cold, and poor.”

”The facility was wonderful however the front desk staff was not. We were first told we did not have a room and then had to find someone to help her. Not professional at all! The pool was out of towels I asked the same front desk person for a towel she begrudgingly got one for me but added "we have a towel shortage". Front desk staff in need of customer service training both in behavior and appearance!”

”I initially was put in a room that had a tub faucet that would not shut off once I turned it on there was no phone in the room couldn’t get the refrigerator door open, but they did switch me to another room and it was much better”

”Had bugs in the room, staff was not friendly at check in, she acted like I was bothering her for coming in. In the morning I left the keys in the room and my daughter left her phone so had to go to desk and get a new key … nobody was manning the desk. I waited 25 minutes, ringing the bell, calling the desk nobody around, yelled “does anyone work here” I finally had to walk down the hall to breakfast room and yelled for someone in there for a key. ”We booked online a two-day stay only, because we were not sure about the quality of the hotel. We came from Europe and our flight from Chigago to Des Moines was canceled, so we could not get to this hotel at the first day. I called and they kept our room reserved for us till we arrived, which was really nice. Kids liked the pool a lot. The breakfest was more than we could imagine, and the location was just perfect for us, so we decided to stay a whole week in this hotel. I can warmly recommend...

”There were some stains on the wall and in the shower. The sliding door was broken (off its track) when we arrived. The towels were so scratchy. Not a bad place to stay for the price, but could definitely improve the facilities.”
