The home has 3 levels and 2 levels have porches and decking across the entire rear of the home with beautiful mountain and lake views. Adjacent to your private dock and lakeshore, relax at the covered pavilion and firepit, cook dinner on one of several gas grills and smokers that are available. Lake Chatuge water levels are low from October to the first week of May, therefore not allowing for boat parking at the dock, however...kayaks, paddle boards and paddle boat may be rented. For the fishing enthusiasts, schedule a day with our CHARTER Fishing Captain Seabolt on Lake Chatuge! If you're looking for superior fishing guide experience, Jeremy Seabolt's Fishing Charters is the guide service for you. Jeremy Seabolt has been guiding fishing tours for over 15 years and his knowledge of Lake Chatuge, as well as many other North Georgia lakes is second-to-none. You will be comfortable on his 23 ft Carolina Skiff boat with Lowrance Fish finder, state of the art fishing equipment and fresh live bait. If you desire to leave the property.... so many incredible activities and sites to see in the surrounding area! Don't miss the incredible views from nearby "Bell Mountain". For the wine enthusiasts.... North Georgia is home to several wineries and tours are available to partake in the "wine tastings". The highest point in Georgia is "Brasstown Bald" which is south of Hiawassee.... a beautiful drive and incredible views! For the "hiking enthusiast"... hop on the Appalachian Trail from many trail head locations in North Georgia. The overall description of the house was accurate. There was plenty of room for 15 adults and 3 children. The outdoor area, pool, pickleball court and kitchen was amazing! It was a wonderful area to hang out all day and night. We also rented the pontoon boat which provided hours of fun along with the paddle boards, water trampoline, paddle boat, kayak, etc. There are so many things to do at the property that you never need to leave the property. The huge porch overlooking the lake was an awesome spot for family gatherings and dinner. Dave, the owner, is nice and friendly and provided us with TP, paper towels, paper plates, plasticware, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which was nice for a rental property. The inside of the house needs a little bit of TLC, but the overall experience was excellent! We would definitely rent the property again! In 25 years of renting summer homes for an extended family vacation, this is the only property we all agreed is worth renting again!

The first major complaint is the bedrooms. It has five bedrooms. Two open air lofts with bunk beds jam packed in there and WORSE if you go into to the no door, open air loft; go through the bathroom you enter another room called a bedroom, jammed with bunk beds that has no windows and NO EXIT DOOR EXCEPT THROUGH THE BATHROOM AND THEN THROUGH THE OTHER OPEN AIR LOFT! This is called a closet. I highly wonder if this is even legal to have “bedrooms” without windows and the exit door is through a bathroom and then through another “bedroom”!. Some of my family members had to rent a room at the local Holiday Inn because of the horrible arrangement. The cleanliness of the property is less than one star. The pool was filthy so we didn’t use it. There were half submerged kayaks, furniture and trash all in the lake. The putting green was under repair and all the construction debris was partially blocking the path to the lake. The view was ruined because of the trash in the lake.

Wonderful property, nice house, great amenities, and spacious common areas. The property was not cleaned very well prior to our arrival which is why i didn't give it a full 5 stars. Since the propeety is on the older side, it would benefit from having a thorough, professional cleaning(inside and outside the property). For us to have been on vacation, we had to clean before enjoyment of most of the areas. The owner was nice and came out for any issues we had. It was definitely appreciated and overall we had a great stay.

The house worked out great for our multi generation family. The two kitchens were great and met our needs. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplaces. Dave was great to work with and was available to answer any questions. It was a very cold weekend but some of our family used the pickleball court. We would definitely stay again

Our annual work trip and this house was perfect! Each family had their own space and bathroom. Plenty of activities onsite and seating for everyone. This was our second time to the property and Dave has added to the property and making more improvements.

My wife and I stayed and as always Dave Norris was excellent!!! The property was awesome, and everything was as advertised. We cannot wait for all the new amenities; we will be booking this property again. We have stayed with Dave before at the Bellissimo Castle in Gainesville at his other VRBO property and Dave was the BEST!!!! Lake Chatuge was everything it was on the site. Despite other reviews. We Connot believe the poor review that was posted. We booked the house not the new venue. The pool was beautiful and the venue grounds with new amenities were awesome. Dave was the utmost professional!!!!

Owner was nice ,but place was a construction zone outside many of the amenities listed were not there or were unavailable for use . Owner had an issue with the pool and was there daily working on it , also the house was outdated and needed much work on the inside with plumbing issues and mold in the bathroom ceiling. The property was not ready for rental use

I booked this location to celebrate my wedding anniversary with family and friends. One of the main reasons we were attracted to this property was for the outdoor activities. Dave warned that there was some construction going on, but it would not interfere with our stay. The grounds were unsightly and the putt-putt green was gone. There was a golf cart parked in front of the front door which paused a safety concern for me. The house was clean. Plenty of kitchenware. There was even some seasoning to use. There were two sets of washers and dryers. The home was stocked with coffee and tea. One large kitchen would have served us better than having 2, but the home is set up for multiple families. It's like a duplex that was combined. It was clean, but it could really use some updating. For the price, it was not luxury. There was like a mold stain on the shower curtain liner in the king room downstairs. The carpet could use replacing. The grounds were not well kept. The outdoor kitchen area was not appealing to use, the furniture was icky. There is a board loose by the patio door where the exercise equipment is that should be considered a safety hazard. The pictures do not show the tractor company's parking lot right on the other side of the lake. This home is really a 7 bedroom with 2 loft areas with beds which would be suitable for kids. I had to refund some of my guests because the lofts were not private. This was a private location, but needs updates.

The house and grounds were the perfect fit for our annual family and friends fall retreat. There was ample space for everyone and tons to do that fit the diversity of ages. The house was clean and the owner was very accommodating for anything we need pr wanted to do. The tweens in our group had a blast and never got bored, while the adults had various spaces to mingle and relax.

We absolutely loved staying here. Large enough to comfortably hold 12 adults and 6 children. Tons of activities to keep everyone entertained. Great location close to lots of hiking trails and outdoor activities.

All of my siblings and their families got together for a long weekend at the lake. The house had everything we needed for kids and family fun, and the way the house is set up, it made it perfect so that each family had their own little area of bedrooms. Really great fun.

Our large, extended family had plenty of room and so much to do with all of the extra amenities offered. The eleven children ages 2 to 12 were never bored. The lake is lovely and we really enjoyed renting the pontoon boat. The hosts are friendly and helpful.

The property exceeded all expectations. We had rooms for everyone and the gathering places around the home were perfect for a large group. The game room was so much fun for team building. We were able to use the firepit outside and the grill. Such a great time. The owner was awesome with the communications.

We had a good time at this property. We were a family of 5 with kids and the property has enough room for party as large as us. The views and lake as shown in pictures don't look the same so that was a little disappointing. The house could use a change of carpet as it seemed rugged and dirty. A stand alone heater on the porch in winter heater would be a great add. Other than that we had a good time.

We had the pleasure of staying at this amazing Lakehouse right before Thanksgiving, and the house was perfect! Plenty of activities for a large family, from hiking to putt-putt, and a great golden tee setup. The house was very clean and had everything needed. We have already recommended it to a few close friends and looking forward to the next visit. Priscilla, thank you for all your help before and during the stay.

We rented the property for a small wedding. The house is set up perfectly for families to congregate or have privacy if they choose to. There are so many things to do outside from games to putt putt go volleyball to a beautiful fire pit. We were married outside and the trees, lake and waterfall made beatbackdrops.
