”The relaxing weekend retreat was made better by the cozy farmhouse. The surrounding nature and landscape made it very easy to relax and enjoy time away. I have spent much time in similar VRBO locations throughout the states and have to throw a shout out for the cleanliness of this location. If you are heading here, make sure to spend your morning coffee break with the deer and local animals.”

”Very secluded which I loved! Very peaceful. The steep drive to the top is very difficult and if you do not have 4 wheel drive I would not attempt. Everything was great the only feedback I have is there were zero paper towels so we had to use hand towels to wipe down counters after cooking. ”

”The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.”
