”It was clean. It had a beautiful drive to it and it was tucked up in the woods. It would be nice if there was curtains, but that is OK. You are surrounded by trees. Enjoyed our visit. Has a very cute town nearby. Wasn’t in the house very much was enjoying all the scenery.”

”Cabin was lovely in a secluded spot. Close to Cacapon park hiking, horseback riding, and shotgun shooting. Also Morgan County Observatory was close. Of course Berkley Speings was nice too! Rounded out each day in the hot tub!”

”The cabin was small but cute and very well equipped. The setting was stunning. A shaded grassy yard leads to the river, which was beautiful and had a view of the mountains. The river was swift but very shallow. Not deep enough to kayak or canoe but perfect for a beach chair with your feet in the water. Watch the weather because there’s a very low and narrow bridge you have to cross to get in/out of the area. It was flooded when we left but we got out just in time. Again, gorgeous...

”We stayed here for our daughter’s 5th birthday. She told me she wanted to camp in the woods. She got exactly that. My husband and my children were so excited upon arrival. They said it was perfect and exactly what they had in mind. Perfect, rustic charm, beautiful, and relaxing. We took our fur babies with us too. I’d 10/10 recommend to anyone. The owner was also very attentive and responded to everything very quickly. Can’t wait to go back :)”

”We stayed for a long weekend following Christmas - needed to get away from the city for a bit. It's a beautiful house with a great view and good location. It was just 3 of us so the space was fine -- I am not sure I would recommend it for a larger group in winter, as you'd really be on top of each other. For the other three seasons, the deck, hot-tub, and firepit would all be great ways to spread out. Would definitely love to go back sometime in the future!”

”Cozy, modern inside, rustic outside. Far enough from amenities to feel remote but close enough to local restaurants and provisions if you want them. Nearby access to short or long hikes in beautiful country.Owners were attentive and helpful from afar. ”

”This little cabin in the woods was in such a great location. We loved being both in a secluded location, but just a short drive to the river and not far from berkley springs to food/ supplies. We also took a day trip to winchester to shop. Loved the screened in porch to drink coffee and read.”
