”Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful
We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!!
If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. This is our second time staying and it definitely won’t be...

”Lovely pub and restaurant with well appointed rooms adjoining. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room decor was Scandi-style - very attractive as well as sufficiently comfortable. Lovely view over the garden and beyond to the woods from my room window.”

Limited motorbike parking (lethal gravel) but found a spot on entrance paths.”
