Escape tähän tilavaan kotiin puron puolella kylpytynnyrillä! Toivomme rakastavasi tämän kodin viehätysta yhtä paljon kuin me. Alun perin 1900-luvun alkupuolella rakennettuna 3 huoneen hyttinä, nämä 3 huonetta ovat alkuperäiset parkettilattiat, kieli- ja urapaneelit ja alkuperäiset sisäovet. Lisäyksillä (sekä ylös että ulos!) ja kunnostuksia, se on valmis perheen ja ystävien nauttimaan! Tämä koti sijaitsee Wayah Creekillä, vain 5 km: n päässä luonnonkauniista Wayah Baldista ja Appalachian polusta. Tämä koti ylittää odotuksesi mukavuudesta, mukavuudesta ja rentoutumisesta. Nauti laiskoista päivistä ja tähtivalaistuista öistä, jotka oleskelevat 6 hengen Hot Springs Grande -tynnyrissä, josta on näkymät veteen, tai kävele siltamme yli vaeltaaksesi Nantahalan kansallismetsään! Tee tästä kotipesästä kaikille siellä löytyville upeaan Länsi-Pohjois-Carolinaan, runsaista vesiputouksista ja koskenlaskuun gem-louhintaan ja kaikkeen muuhun! Perävaunu veneelläsi ja käymällä alueen kauniilla vuoristojärvissä .... Nantahala-järvi on kaunis 10 mailin ajomatkan päässä. Ja älä unohda kalastusnapojasi !!!

Kodin sisällä koet olosuhteet nopeaa Internet- ja lautastelevisio-ohjelmointia varten kolmella uudella SmartTV: llämme. Täysin kunnostettu avokeittiö, jossa on huippuluokan kaasuvalikoima, miellyttää ryhmäsi hienointa kokkia! Suuressa ruokakomeroissa on paljon tilaa kaikille päivittäistavaroillesi, ja kaapit on varustettu kattiloilla, pannuilla, välineillä ja jopa crockpotilla (sanoiko joku keitetyt maapähkinät?!). Kerää kokoon 100-vuotisesta poplarista valmistetun baarimme ympärille tai rentoudu joen huoneen ylenmääräisillä tuolilla kuunnellessasi kiirehtivän veden ääniä. Pidä talvella maukasta puulämmitteisen takan vieressä. Nauti lämmitettyjen marmorilattioiden lämmöstä aulassa ja yläkerrassa!

Jokaisella on runsaasti tilaa levittää päätason yhden makuuhuoneen kanssa queen-vuode ja laajakuvatelevisio, joka sijaitsee hiljattain remontoidun laattahuoneen vieressä, jossa on suihku. Kaksi ylimääräistä makuuhuonetta sijaitsevat yläkerrassa. Kaunien liukuvien navettaovien takana on iso perheen makuuhuone, jossa yksi queen-vuode ja 2 erillistä vuodetta sekä iso vaatehuone. Makuuhuoneessa on king-vuode, josta on näkymä joelle, sekä iso oleskelutila, jossa on sohva, 2 tuolia ja seinälle asennettu televisio, josta voi nauttia sängystä tai oleskelualueelta. Makuuhuoneen ulkopuolella on oma parveke, jolla voi upottaa alla olevia veden nähtävyyksiä ja ääniä. Yläkerran 2 makuuhuonetta jakoi suuri kylpyhuone, jossa on lämmitetyt marmorilattiat ja pyyheteline, jotta jäähdytys tapahtuu jopa kylminä talvi-aamuina! Kylpyhuoneessa on kutsuva tohveli-amme pitkien liotusten tai nopeaan kasteluun! Jos suihkussa on mielesi, alakerran kylpy vastaa tarpeitasi!

Kerää kauniita käsintehtyjä puisia ruokapöytämme jokihuoneeseen aterioita ja peliyötä varten! Tai nauti aikaa yhdessä puron puolella kannella piknikpöydän ja keinutuolien kanssa. Pesutupa, jossa uusi pesukone ja kuivausrumpu, on myös päätasolla, jotta voit pakata kevyesti ja lähteä kotiin puhtailla vaatteilla!

Kätevästi Kävelykadun Wayah-tieosassa Scenic Byway -sivustolla, päällystetyllä tiellä, kotiin pääsee helposti myös pahan säällä. Olemme vain riittävän kaukana Franklinin keskustasta (8 mailia) yksinäiseksi, mutta olemme oikealla tiellä niin moniin vuoriseikkailuihin! Franklin / Macon Countyssa on 16 paikallista vesiputousta, maailmankuulu helmikaivos ja lukuisia retkeily- ja pyöräilyreittejä, kuten Appalachian Trail ja Bartram Trail. Ruokakaupat ja ravintolat ovat alle 10 minuutin päässä. Nopea 15 minuutin matkan päässä Franklinin keskustasta on antiikkiliikkeitä, paikallisia käsitöitä, ravintoloita, viihdettä ja paikallisia mikropanimoita.

Amazing place

This place was amazing. The creek running through the property is awesome. The bridge ro cross to.the fire pits is what sets this spot in a place of its own. We are already planning another trip. Super large bedrooms and the tub upstairs is great for a relaxing bath.

My high expectations where exceeded. Best property ever!

This cabin is beautiful and offers all the comforts of home with a touch of rustic charm. It is such a special place, and truly felt like a home rather than the commercialized rentals that seem to be flooding the market currently. We stayed in early spring, and the thoughtful, natural landscaping that met us as we pulled into the drive reset my overwhelmed mind. As we walked in the front door, we realized quickly we were in for an amazing stay! The heated floor and cozy area rug of the huge entry way became the perfect spot for rainy day games and Lego sessions for my 3 boys. The kitchen was well-stocked, the gas range is amazing, and there was plenty of storage space as well. I loved how open and spacious it is, walk in closets, high ceilings upstairs; the main bedroom had its own living room! The beds were very comfortable, on the soft side, and had amazing linens. The sound of the creek was our nightly bedtime lullaby, as well as the music of each day. The house sits perfectly beside the creek, with so many seating spots with peaceful views.The hot tub was a highlight for our kids, as well as the magical bridge over the creek; a lovely natural playground. The location is secluded, but with easy access to town as well as hiking. We loved the cozy evenings by the fire, and games around the table in the river room. The host was great and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We can't wait to come back and enjoy this little slice of paradise again!

Friends get together

I had friends from Michigan and Alabama meet up here. The cabin was amazing, so many features that just made our stay top notch. The view in the master was beautiful. Sitting out by the fire pit was very comfortable. The only thing we had a problem with was the driveway because we had 2 F250's, one with a trailer... It was a tight squeeze, but other than that, I would highly recommend

Very Relaxing!

We were looking to relax over the holidays, and this was the place for it. The house was roomy and well decorated and had everything we needed. The creek that runs through the property provided "white noise" that allowed us to sit back and enjoy our time together.

The pictures on vrbo were great but didnt do this place justice, it was even better than it looks online. One of the best properties we have ever stayed at. My wife and I had one of the most relaxing weekends ever.

Beautiful!!!!

We’ve stayed in many VRBO places and this is my very favorite. Hated to leave. Loved the creek running right by the house and spent a lot of time enjoying it. Home is beautifully decorated, well stocked, easy to get into Franklin. Didn’t have a chance to use the fire circles as the weather didn’t cooperate on the day we were free. Nice hike at Rufus Morgan trail and gorgeous views at Wayah Bald and tower. Kathy was very responsive to any questions. Hope to return some day

The Best!

This property is by far my favorite among all rentals I’ve done. The setting could not have been more beautiful. I took along 5 other 67 y/o “girls” who have been friends since jr high & we enjoyed this place so much. The house is perfect w/plenty of room for a big group & pretty much everything you’d need is provided. The icing on the cake is the creek running thru the property which was so lovely & peaceful. The firepit area was used on several nights of our stay & was so much fun. I’d def love to go back to this unbelievably perfect property!

Peaceful and serene

We absolutely loved this place!! The pics and description were very accurate. The place was clean, decorated very nice, loved the windows and the favorite was the master with the double doors that opened to the porch overhanging the creek below - simply Heaven!! We never closed the doors the whole time we were there. The piece of property is magnificent. If I had to give one little negative is that it is close to the road so you did hear car / bike traffic but not during the night. We loved this place and would not hesistate to stay here again. Chris and Kathy were amazing and so responsive on everything. Loved them both!

Amazing Creekside Property

This property is a gem. We absolutely loved the home and the nature all around the area. Just driving to the property was a treat; forest views and safe/easy drive leading to it. The kids waded into the creek and played, and with the trees all around it just feels like you're in another world~we're from south Florida so it's a big change. I loved the bathtub upstairs and the deck off the primary bedroom. Beautiful home that is spacious and cozy. Highly recommend.

Relaxing retreat

My family had a fantastic stay. This house has so much character and there is nothing better than the beautiful fire pit area right next to the mountain creek. The only drawback of the house is no cell reception but the high speed WiFi makes it almost unnoticeable. Other than that it was perfect. Multiple porches to sit and relax. Eat in the dining room with gorgeous windows overlooking the creek. This was our third trip to Franklin but our first time staying in this house. I would absolutely return.

Lovely Getaway

The property is gorgeous and has easy access to the stream and house.One recommendation is to put concrete in the driveway where it meets Wayah Road. You have to pull out pretty fast onto a curvy road and our car slipped in the gravel.Everything else was absolutely wonderful.

Absolutely Spectacular

Get that group of couples or family and get this house! It’s in the perfect location for multiple towns and there is so much to do! Make sure you stay for a while. I guarantee you’ll not want to leave! Owner is extremely helpful and quick to respond.

Great Time. Few suggestions

This was a relaxing get away in an area that we had not experienced before. Loved the creek and fire pit and our visit to Wayah Bald. The hosts were very responsive to our questions. Trimming of the hedges left and right of the drive might aid exiting the driveway less difficult and a mattress update in the second floor middle bedroom would be nice.

A Mountain Paradise

This property is absolutely beautiful! It is spacious but cozy, and we liked that it had a bedroom downstairs. The master bedroom overlooks the river you go to sleep and wake up hearing the soothing sound of the river flow. We enjoyed the deck, the hot tub and we roasted hotdogs and marshmallows over a fire. The location is also perfect for hiking as there are many trails near by. My friends and I have stayed at several cabins through the years and we all agreed, this was the best place we’ve stayed. I definitely hope to get back to this property soon!

Lovely home situated in a park-like atmosphere. We loved our stay. Home was extremely clean and had everything we could want to feel at home. Close to stores and restaurants. We loved the dry falls and a trip to Highlands for lunch.
