”Good value, but it's true that you "get what you pay for". The room was extremely hot so we weren't able to get sleep, and the noises from the motorway were quite loud- Although that can't really be helped. The staff member we spoke to at check-in was very helpful. Beds were made and clean (although not very comfortable, but that could be a preference thing). One duvet was stained, but that was only noticeable when I stripped the bed at the end of the stay to help housekeeping. Overall, I...

”An absolutely wonderful place to stay. Lovely staff, food, walks, the room was great. Great food and the chef came round to speak to each of us to make sure we all enjoyed our food. A really special place that we will go back to. A couple of points to make though, they do not serve breakfast and there is nobody to hand a key back to on our leave which is a bit odd otherwise very highly recommended.”

”Really welcoming staff. There was a few for the car park which did not seem fair. It’s an overnight stop with a comfortable bed. Some issues with water pressure, taps going on and off.”

”A friendly welcome by the staff and very attentive throughout our stay. Room 8 was excellent with plenty of space and a large bath with separate shower. Food selection was great and expertly prepared. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Good selection of drinks at the bar. Several walks from the hotel and the river Wye is only a 15 minute walk away.”
