The motel was next to the Manapouri lake and there was a very nice view to the lake from the rooms. The rooms were quite basic but all right for two nights (we visited the Doubtful Sound from Manapouri -- and that was great!) The breakfast options were quite good. I just loved staying at Tiny Away, small but had everything you needed and spotlessly clean. The views were so beautiful that for my second day I decided to stay ‘Home’ and soak in the scenery and enjoy a good book. Nearly the end of my 5 weeks in NZ and I have to say one of the best.

Very clean and spacious. Kitchen well stocked for cooking and owner is kind enough to provide snacks and basic food items, even though we didn’t need it. New fireplace warmed up space nicely. Very handy to have the washer on site. Would stay again.
