”Avoid this place. Pictures give the impression that the rooms have beautiful lake views. I booked a room for a really high price. When arriving, I found out that in order to get a room with a lake view, I had to pay 20% extra, and there were only a few of those rooms. Most rooms have a view of the wall of a neighboring building. The room was also worn down. It may have been a good room ages ago, but in its current condition, it is not worth the money they charge. ”We had a wonderful stay at Chalet am Sonnehang. We stayed two nights, one in the second floor apartment which was lovely and then switched to the “tiny house” so we could have a fire in the wood stove. Nestled in the cozy cabin at night with the warming fire was a perfect alpine experience in sleepy Obertraun away from the busyness and crowds in Hallstatt! We would highly recommend staying here. The hosts were exceptional and very helpful. 😊”

”Very relaxing and easy going place. Accomodation was nice with new kitchenette and bath room. Big yard and garden near the house. It was great to have an own beach just across the street. Possibility to try to sup and so we did for the first time. Just great visit, did not miss a thing. Easy to access by boat, we came from St.Gilgen to Schafbergbahn, only few minutes walk from there. Herzlichen Dank fuer alles😁”
