Huge in size and very crowded. The room was literally minutes away from the front desk. Superior twin room was spacious for local standards and impeccably clean.
Breakfest buffet seems to favor quantity of varieties over quality. We did like the cat-robot collecting used dishes though.

”Very close to the To-Ji station, you could hear trains passing ( not so loud though). Walking distance from the To-Ji temple and Aeon Mall. Otherwise there was not much to see around the area. You need train, bus or Uber to move around.
The breakfast was not quite as expected, typical Asian I guess, soup, noodles etc. As in everywhere in Japan, there was almost no bread available.
But the staff were very friendly and polite.”

”This hotel is simply fantastic, so nice we decided to extend our stay. The staff is amazing, the rooms are extremely clean and way bigger than usual hotel rooms in Japan. The area is beautiful close to nice nature shrines and a short walk for dining and bars. ”
”Had some issues upon arrival. We had a reservation for a triple room, but they weren't willing to have us stay in such a room(even if they have the room type, and I had reserved it) . We ended up in a standard twin with additional bed.
To hotel is ok. Breakfast quite good. Location a bit off, there wasn't much sights closeby, and the area was quite boring at night.
A good perk with this hotel is their shuttle bus, very nice drivers and very convenient to get to/from Kyoto station every 30min if...

"The hotel is located nicely in the middle of a shopping area and not too far from 2 different subway lines. Only downside with the location is that a taxi cant really get right infront of the hotel but it's not a long walk (3 minutes) from the closest drop off location.
Checking in and out is easy and quick with the self service desks and there is staff to help if you require assistance.
Didnt have much interraction with the staff except for one at reception and the cleaning staff of the floor and all were very friendly.
Only downside (for me) was how hard the bed was but that's a preference thing.
With all that said unless the hotel prices itself out it will stay on my radar for when I come to Kyoto again (6 days is not enough!)."
"Parasta hotellissa oli sen "kylpyläosasto" eli Onsen.
Onsen oli monipuolisin ja laadukkain koko matkallamme ja selittää varmasti sen miksi hotellilla on huippu arvostelut.
Hotellin siivoustaso jättää hieman toivomisen varaa, mutta yleisesti ottaen paikka on riittävän siisti. Lisäksi sängyt olivat omaan makuuni epämukavia ja tyyny lähes hyödytön. Joten aivan 10/10 kokemusta paikka ei tarjonnut.
Paikka tarjoaa ehkä vähän koomisen paljon kaikkea pientä kivaa asiakkailleen. Löytyy ilmaista jäätelöä, teetä ja kahvia sekä iltapalaksi ilmainen ramen. Hieman erikoinen toimintamalli, mutta piristi matkaa."
