”Food options and drinks were great. All employees from bartender, servers, valet service and front desk service people were all very helpful and polite. Valet staff was very friendly and honest.”

”The Viking is one of the 1950s-era motels that are common on Interstate Avenue, from the days when it was one of the main arterials for visitors to Portland from the north. It has been renovated and well-maintained, though, and is a good choice for people looking for reasonably-priced accommodation in north Portland. It is very close to a light rail stop, and also to bike lanes and bicycle-friendly streets.”
”My Cosy room was truly cozy. Wood panelling and wood accents throughout the hotel give the place a warm inviting feel. Smallish rooms are offset by ample, comfortable space downstairs to work. Loved the art throughout the hotel and rooftop restaurant/bar. Food was good. Staff was friendly. Location is convenient. Only downside is that it sits on the edge of the somewhat sketchy Old Town-Chinatown district, but that’s offset by all the other pluses. I’d stay here again. ”
