”The room we were in, James Cook, was wonderful. Clean, well equipped, comfortable, with a lovely deck. It was also great to have breakfast provided each day. Steffan and Michelle are fantastic hosts. Warm, proactive, helpful, and fun. I highly, highly recommend this place.”

”The hostel was quite unclean, especially the kitchen was disgusting. The whole place also smelled like cigarrette. I thought the breakfast was supposed to start at 7.30 but there was no one/nothing there then. The doors can not be locked which feels a bit uncomfortable as a female solo traveler. However it is a cheap option to stay in and you can park your car right in front of the hostel. It is also nice that the toilet and shower are in the room. ”

”For what this is (a cabin in a campervan park), it was excellent. The cabin was private, clean, and quiet. There's obviously no view and the amenities are all shared (shared bathroom/toilets/showers, shared communal area) but everything was in pretty good/decent shape. It's not a 5 star luxury hotel but it's not pretending to be that. For the value and what you pay for (and for just one night where you're getting in fairly late and leaving somewhat early), it's excellent. ”

”We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Beachside Sunnyvale Motel. Colin and Tomoko were incredible hosts, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their kindness. Tomoko welcomed us so warmly and was extremely accommodating, especially as she helped us at the last minute after our original accommodation fell through. ”Oli mukava paikka, lämmin vastaanotto ja paikan sijainti on loistava. Lauttaterminaalille noin 5 minuutin ajomatka ja kylän keskustaan 10 minuutin kävelymatka. Huone oli tilava ja kylppäri nykyaikainen. Sänky oli hyvä, Wifi pelasi hyvin. Parkkipaikka oli majoituksen yhteydessä. Moderni on se sana mikä paikasta jäi mieleen ja pikkuextrat, kuten pullovedet ja muffinsit:)”

”Nice hostel/motel, there is everything you need for a couple night stay. Only thing is, there is no lockers where you can store your bags/valuables so you really have to trust your roommates.”

”The self check in was easy. Our Ferry came in quite later than scheduled so it was a quick stay over before leaving the next day. Too short of a stay to find anything wrong but much nicer and spacious than a regular motel. Very clean. 5 minutes off the Ferry. The spa was nice and so was the balcony in our unit. It was nice to have a grocery store and gas station so close they could easily be located just by looking out the window and not involve following any directions.”
