”This was one of our favourite hotel stays ever! Beautiful wood panelled lodge set into the hills of the Black Forest. The room was spotless and the food at dinner and breakfast was faultless too. The service was friendly throughout. The view from the beer garden alone is worth coming for. 10/10
P.s. It’s a personal preference thing but I like to have two pillows. There was only one in the room so do ask at the desk if you prefer two”

”This is a hotel you'll want to return to. The location is superb, right in the heart of the Black Forest. The rooms are very comfortable, with balconies and views of the mountains and forest. They have everything you need, except for the minibar. The breakfast is fantastic, with the option of ordering egg dishes. A wide selection of cheeses, sausages, vegetables, and fruits is available. ”Nice hotel. Dinner surprisingly tasty for a small hotel but beware it was meant to be cash only which we didn't know so the owner kindly added it to our hotel bill. Rooms nice and comfortable although kids had to sleep in a sofa converted bunk bed. Proprietor is very nice. Parking is ample. ”

”Das Appartement war sehr sauber und vom Schnitt her ideal für uns - 2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder. Es gibt eine kleine Küchenzeile, allerdings bis auf ein paar Tassen keinerlei Geschirr - für Tee reicht es also 😄 mehr brauchten wir auch nicht. Was besonders hervorzuheben ist, war die absolute Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Von der Dame/dem Herren an der Rezeption über das Personal in Küche und Pizzeria bis hin zu den
Reinigungskräften - allesamt wurde uns viel Freundlichkeit entgegengebracht! Und...
