”Our lodge was close to the motorway and you could heart the traffic noise day and night. location is nice to close the beach, but the distance to main street is bit far by foot.”

”WARNING: only hotel in the world with a 16:00 check in. If you can’t be bothered to staff the hotel at least leave a key box like every other hotel. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to waste waiting for 16:00 so checked into the Beachfront hotel in town for the same price and standard check in. ”

”While we only stayed one night here, it was the perfect location to get away from the noise of town traffic yet very close to Hokitika and right on the way to the Hokitika Gorge. There were only two of us but perfect spot for family with children or couples travelling together. ”

”I thought it was a 3 bedroom or had 3 beds. There were 2 beds and a futon. We ended up using the futon in the living room instead. We didn’t find the indoor trash bin until we were leaving, because it was outside. Other than that, it was very clean and the price was great. ”
