Adorable private cottage with lake views and access.

  • A private two-bedroom/1 bath cozy cottage (860 sq ft) with everything you need to feel at home. Less than an hour to Acadia National Park and plenty of stores and activities, but secluded enough for a relaxing time with friends/family. Lake views and access within easy walking distance.

    The main floor of the property houses a kitchen, living room, sunroom, bathroom and washer/dryer. The second floor has two bedrooms; one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. There is an additional twin bed in the living room that also serves as a couch!

    There is air conditioning on the floor with the bedrooms; one in each room. We also provide window fans for the main floor to help on the hotter days. I'm a sucker for open windows and doors!

    As noted, this sweet camp is 860 square feet. It is ideal for couples or families. Max occupancy is 5 people; but please keep in mind some may find it tight for 5 adults! But, as they say: Love grows best in little houses, just like this!

    If you're looking for a clean and comfy place to land, this might be your spot!

This is a very neat property. A beautiful look at the lake and amazing sunrises.The hostess was very responsive to any of our questions.We would return to the property, if the opportunity arises.

The property was lovely!! We enjoyed all the little quaint touches making it feel like home.The check in process was easy and quick. Communication from host was Excellent. Access to the dock and swimming were good. Enjoyed using the grill and making a fire.Overall experience excellent!! Would definitely recommend this place and come back.

Great place to stay with kids! Super cute, clean, and well stocked cottage by a beautiful, clear lake. Within easy driving distance of Acadia but far enough away that you can have a little quiet from the crowds. Michelle was an excellent host and has thought of pretty much everything you would need right down to the sunscreen in the kitchen. Highly recommend!

House was cozy and clean. Cannot beat the sunrise views over the lake. We enjoyed exploring nearby Acadia and Bar Harbor (about 45 mins away). Bangor is also close and had some great food options (11 Central was excellent). We had an issue with the AC during our stay but the host was responsive and resolved it immediately. Thanks for a great stay!

It is a lovely cabin. Nicely decorated and had everything we needed. We felt like we were home right away. Great communication with owner. Saw three rainbows from the deck.

We have had the BEST stay here! Michelle was so easy to communicate with and so helpful. We were traveling with two kiddos and she made sure we had everything we could need, from life jackets to Dog Man books. The cottage was very well stocked, homey, and comfortable. I loved the little wildflower bouquets in each room. The deck overlooking the lake was so picturesque. We rode a Revolution Rail bike along Green Lake (the station is just steps from the cottage) and highly recommend it to other travelers! The beach and swimming area are also super close and awesome for the kids. The large yard and fire pit were also huge hits. This was our home base for two days in Acadia, but we wish we’d had longer just to have more time here!

Perfect family getaway

We loved the location of the cottage as well as the cottage itself. Small and cozy with lots of charm. Perfect place to stay for a relaxing vacation. Close to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor and Bangor.

We had a great stay at this rustic cabin for a college friend trip from North Carolina. The cabin was very cute and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The setting made for a fun getaway and we especially appreciated how well equipped everything was. The host was very communicative as well. We didn’t end up using the kayaks this trip, but having them available was a great bonus and definitely gives us a reason to come back in the future.A couple small suggestions: adding shades or additional privacy coverage in the bathroom window would be helpful for nighttime. One evening, my friend went out to the car and could see into the bathroom while I was getting out of the shower. Also, I kept bumping my head on the light fixture above the toilet, so adjusting that setup could improve comfort.We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return!!

It was wonderful. The property owners were wonderful, they keep the property well stocked, and very clean. They were wonderful to communicate with. And the location is just gorgeous. My partner and I plan to come back in the summer if we can!
