”The Pod is a very well designed compact apartment that was absolutely ideal for us to spend a week in Barbados.The hosts were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and their local knowledge was quite beneficial.There were some problems with stuck doors and no hot water but these were rectified efficiently and quickly. ”This apartment felt like a private villa with use of its own pool. Great views from the balconies. Very spacious and quiet. It's a short walk up a winding road from town so you have to be aware of traffic when walking home from town at nighttime. Would highly recommend this property. ”We loved James Bay apartments as a young family seeking a relaxed holiday in Barbados. Mark and PJ were great hosts and were very welcoming for the children. We enjoyed being in a more original property for the area, which accompanied by the great view to the ocean helped the relaxed vibe. The location is great, right on the beach and in the middle of the west coast. It’s a good half an hour (not safe for children) walk to Holetown, so you’d need a car or easy bus ride. We’ll be back.”
