Macatawa Lake View Mökki State Park ja pyöräteitä

Se sijaitsee Holland State Park Resort -alueella kaikilla sen tarjoamilla aktiviteetteilla - kävellä, vaeltaa, juoksua, pyöräillä, ajaa puiston sisäänkäynnille, joka on alle mailin päässä. Aurinkoa, tee hiekkalinnoja Michigan-järven kauniilla rannoilla, veneitä, vuokraa vesiskoottereita, ihmiset katselevat, venevahtivat Holland State Park -kanavaa pitkin tai takapihallesi.

Keltainen mökki on täydellinen perheen hauskanpitoon - kaikki mukavuudet, jotka tekevät vierailustasi helppoa - astianpesukone, pesukone / kuivausrumpu, kaksi kylpyhuonetta ja upea näkymä Macatawa -järvelle. Siellä on runsaasti pysäköintitilaa myös vieraillesi, 2-autotalli autollesi ja "ylimääräisiä" esineitä. Toimitamme muutaman polkupyörän omaan käyttöösi tai jos haluat, polkupyörän vuokraus on saatavana muutaman korttelin päässä mökistämme. Lapsilla on hauskaa kaivaa hiekkaa tai heittää palloa 300 + jalkaisen yksityisen yhdistyksen rannalla, joka on kirjaimellisesti pihasi jatko. Pidä nuotioita ja paahta vaahtokarkkeja rannalla ja kävele takaisin mökillesi, kun olet valmis.

Mixed Bag Experience

The good and the bad:The Good: -Nice lakeview-Local wildlife (super friendly ducks!)-Proximity to Holland and State Park-Plenty of sleeping space-Nice backyard space to relaxThr Bad:-Typical stuffy cottage issues... needs screens in windows for air movement or better AC options.-Listing was inaccurate. Futons were listed but were actually sofas. Sleeper sofas are fine for kids but the adults sleeping on them had back issues xD-Appliances need some work. After hours at the beach grandpa wanted to watch some baseball but the TV cable was out. Host attempted to fix the 2nd day but the day we arrived to the TV on and non-functional. The VCR combo TV was also non functional and listed a "VCR head needs to be cleaned" message. We also found a note indicating the dish washer was broken. Unclear if this was accurate as the host indicated otherwise but we didnt want to risk water damage if something went wrong.-Host did respond to our issues but not until late the 1st day in. Generally would recommend expecting questions or assistance requests day 1 at check-in time.-Decorations were cute and themed but not child friendly. We were concerned the kids would break some of the many glass trinkets and decor so we packed everything away. Certainly a fun setup but having so many glass things at knee level is just asking for a 3 year old to drop your glass vase, shatter your dutch blue stonewear, or crack your vintage milk bottles.

The home had a great location with beautiful views and the owner was very responsive. A few things were a disappointment as they differed from the listing. There was only AC in 1 bedroom and 1 living space and windows in the other rooms did not open. There was only 1 shower despite the listing showing 2. The appliances were very old with the dishwasher not being operational and there were no instructions left for it and apparently it was to hook up to the sink but there was not a hose provided to do so. The tvs and wifi did not work and the toilet in one of the bathrooms leaked leaving a large puddle on the floor.

So comfortable!

Beautifully decorated & well appointed home perfect for pretty much any occasion. Unfortunately we only got to stay one night bc this house was fantastic! And the outdoor options were great but the weather & season didn't cooperate

The Perfect Setting

We needed a quick, one-night stay with family and this was the perfect house. Super easy check-in, comfortable beds and clean. We loved the retro touches and the multiple places for guests to sit and enjoy the view. We also appreciated not having a huge cleaning fee and were happy to do a quick cleanup. Thanks for making this easy!

Great family weekend

We stayed for just the weekend to attend a wedding for our family. There were six of us and we had a fantastic time. The views were beautiful and the cottage was clean and fully stocked with what we needed. Harriet was an amazing host and we hope to come back again!

Beautiful location on Lake Macatawa

Older house in a perfect location. Loved sitting by the lake. Loved watching the sun rise and the moon shine on the water. Just down the street is Ottawa Beach on Lake Michigan and Holland's famous red lighthouse. Our stay was very pleasant.

Close to the Beach

We were so happy with how close we were to Holland State Beach and the water frontage on Lake Macatawa was beautiful. The property owner was very responsive to our questions and emails. Definitely a wonderful location!

Overall a wonderful family stay being right on lake macatawa and close to great restaurants in Holland. Love the beaches there. But watch out when getting out of the shower. I tripped, fell on my head, and ended up in two hospitals for parts of two days. Other than that it was avery enjoyable state

Awesome!

It is a perfect location on Lake Macatawa and walking distance to Holland State Park. The house is a perfect beach house. We enjoyed the fire pit at night, canoeing during the day, and beautiful sunsets at Lake Michigan. I'm looking forward to another visit!
