”the expansive ocean + wine glasses photo is highly misleading. any view of the ocean is peek a boo, and most of the property stares at a street and hedge that obstructs view of water. property: furniture, carpet, interior and amenities are old outdated and tired. on an 80+ degree day the air conditioning failed and they required us to keep it turned off. so hot impossible to sleep, and when approached about it the front desk worker said that they might be able to deduct 10%. totally over priced...

”Phenomenal 4th fl. room and view. On site restaurant was excellent. Sorry that i only could stay 1 night. Great staff and history of the building was very interesting.”

”Gorgeous setting with the marina view being worth the upgrade. Most comfortable mattress I’ve slept on in a long time. Fireside staff and food were excellent. 2 free Expedia drinks used for breakfast for a Bloody Mary and a cappuccino. Stella Coffee bags in room were quite good. Jetted tub with locally made bath salts was a bonus! Our only regret was not getting there for the 2pm Expedia VIP check in to enjoy this room and area longer. Next time!”

If you want to stay in an interesting place with history and a lot of character, this is the place - if you don't mind that there is no restaurant or other services on site at this time and it is some distance from the town center. I so want this place to succeed, but it seems there are not enough visitors to keep up all services and...

”The property needs updating. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. The lobby is locked until 6am. The view of marina from balcony was the highlight.”

”A nice hotel one block up from the water. The room was nice and clean, and quiet. I liked the sitting room. There is a nice garden area to enjoy a glass of wine, coffee, or a snack from the attached shop. There are many restaurant options within walking distance. The only drawback was that you need to pay for parking.”

”Better than expected considering the rate. Staff is very nice. The adjoining restaurant serves a lot of different "comfort" foods. Next door is a small market with great fruit and vegetables as well as a good beer and wine selection. The shower kinda sucks and the bed isn't something I would want to sleep on for a week.”

”This is a self-help apartment. It was very expensive. We were afforded no early check in, even though we far in advance notified them that we had a complicated situation. As a result, because we were at an event, could only check in late. Check out is at 10AM, which is an obnoxious, creeping habit of hotels and air b and b's. It does not take six hours to clean a unit. Also, the stay requires a download of an app, but we did not receive check in information (just an email with a broken link) so...

”It’s called the Belmont Hotel on all the travel sites but when you get there, they say through the phone that it’s called Vacasa. This hotel is not open when you peek inside the windows of the hotel and front desk and no one around to assist. We had numerous calls trying to get someone to help us and everyone informed us they couldn’t help us until 4 o’clock when we could use a code that would be emailed to us privately to get into the hotel.
