Majatalot – Holmfirth

”Confusing to check in. It should be pointed out that check in is at the cafe next door. Otherwise all ok for an overnight stay.”

”Nice bed and good shower, staff were lovely. Room very compact, noise from outside and the kitchen in the mornings.”

”Good location, but some things could be improved We stayed at the hotel and overall had a mixed experience. The location is very good—it’s not far from the city centre and also not far from the train station, which was very convenient. The first room we were given had a double bed, which was fine as I was staying with my daughter. However, the shared shower was not working properly and there was no hot water. Thankfully, Joan was very helpful when we contacted her and arranged for us to move...

”Nice small remote birdnest ; )”

”Better than expected for the price. Nothing extraordinary however it was clean, felt secure and safe, the owners were attentive and made it clear to reach out if we needed anything. Shared bathroom wasn’t the nicest but it was pretty clean and did the job absolutely. Heating in the room so wasn’t cold. Good overall !”

”Friendly and”

”We have a lovely stayed here. Very peaceful. All staff very friendly and helpful a d the breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay again and make use of the pool facilities next time.”

”The property overall was very good, but, would have to question why I needed to provide photo ID?”

”中心部へのアクセス、部屋も綺麗で素晴らしかった。”

”Carol runs a beautiful place and always makes us.welcome”

”Owners of the guesthouse was shouting and arguing and I couldnt leave The room cause i was scared. I didn't sleep at all. I was truly scared. I want My money Back. ”

”The room was nice and very affordable, nice quiet area and good security with the cameras and door codes. Very easy to book and travel to with bus stop down the street. The main issue was the other people staying there lacking hygiene and respect as whenever I used the toilet there was wee all over the seat. This is not the owners fault, but the other guests. Other than that it was very nice :)”

”Adequate room very clean but no breakfast.”

”Quite good Experience ”

”Very disappointing. Room was cold and tv not working. Left voicemail for contact twice but received no response. Had to put spare duvet on top of bed. The fact that this spare duvet was in the wardrobe perhaps indicates that the lack of heat is a continuing problem. Internet was intermittent and difficult to get. Towels very hard - suggest you take your own.”

”The room was spacious and reasonably clean. Quite basic but serviceable. What was not good was the bathroom: we understand that a shared bathroom depends a lot on the other guests, but the grime on the toilet and in the bath tub was days old. We chose not to shower here this morning because we didn’t feel at ease.”
