”Loved staying in a home built in 1901, with the furnishings reflecting the era. Lorraine and Greg were great hosts and directed us to many sight worthy destinations. So nice to join other travelers around the delicious breakfast table.”

”Spacious room and very comfortable. While outdated, it was also somewhat rustic and quaint in its own way. The rates were excellent for this time of year. Everything was safe and secure for parking, but we did not eat there. It was an hour's drive back to St. John's for a medical appointment, so a little further than we had hoped for. Still, we found it relaxing and quiet in a beautiful and peaceful setting. ”

”Lovely location, right on the East Coast Trail. Easy to find. Sauna was wonderful. Room was great - cooking facilities were nice to reduce eating out costs. Could hear people in adjacent rooms (just everyday noises, they were not being particularly noisy/partying).”

”I had a pleasant stay here. As a solo female traveler i felt safe and comfortable. The place is old and hasnt been updated but they've done a good job with maintaining the cleanliness. Staff was pleasant. There was a mini fridge, air dryer and microwave which was helpful. It was also really quiet unlike a lot of other placea I have stayed. I would stay here again.”

”Hair on the floor of the bathroom, towel rack fell off wall, and bathroom fan did not work. Minot tweaking needed but good stay overall.”

”Had to pay cash for the deposit because had no credit card. Upon checking out, I had to ask for my deposit back. They didn’t just give it back to like I was told when I gave it upon check in.”

”Room is not nice I was fooled by the photos. Our room looked nothing like our tiny room. Park way at the back. Stairs were wet and I ended up falling. Stairs to upstairs long and narrow. Worse was the evening staff. She did not care that I fell. Did not care I lost my license and refused to accept my husband’s. Morning was better, breakfast was good and the staff was much nicer. I won’t book here again.”

”Absolutely beautiful rooms and location! We loved staying here. Big rooms with stunning ocean views and a comfortable bed. One thing that could be improved is the hallway needing to be sound proofed. If you are staying in the lodge rooms, you will hear other guests and staff stomping down the halls late at night and early in the morning, which woke us up a couple times.”

”Everything was great. But the breakfast was terrible. Same think everyday. Coffee cold eggs I could not eat. I have at other hotel where the breakbeats have been great”
