”We were excited to visit the Avon Inn and it exceeded our expectations. It is a delightful hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was big, with a comfortable bed and in room gas fireplace. The co-owner Jen was lovely to speak to and the history of the hotel is fascinating. Special shoutout to the awesome pool table in the lobby - it is an awesome statement piece and a great use of the space to socialize being right next to the restaurant. We did not get to try the restaurant but the menu...

”The whole structure of the property is really rundown. Inside the room there were several things that were noteworthy: there was a large yellow stain on the flat sheet on the bed, there was hair on the wall of the shower that hadn’t been cleaned from the previous occupant, there was no shower gel in the container, the towel rack in the bathroom was partially ripped out of the wall, there was a stench of marijuana coming into the room, and the walls were so thin, that you could hear the people in...

”The location was 20 minutes away from most major highways and tourists sights. The room was clean and the staff was helpful, considerate and patience. Breakfast area provided offered hot & cold nutriental meals and free coffee at night made the stay a delight.”

The clerk said this was not necessary. The next day our reservation was cancelled. our conversation was not recorded in their system. ”We were traveling while on the road and hotel options were limited. We were missing items in our room which I get happens. The hardest part for us was the weekend breakfast hours don’t start until 7am which just felt late and the breakfast wasn’t great. They also have no high chairs or water fountains.”
