Host easy to contact for anything. We went for family reunion. The place isn’t the most modern or updated. But it was clean spacious and had everything you need (including electric vehicle charger). Beautiful lake and property. Different places for age groups to sleep (outside cottage which is just steps away). We would go again.

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home! The house is very spacious, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable trip, from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy living spaces and clean bedrooms. The place was perfect for relaxation and gathering with family and friends.The location was also very convenient, and we appreciated how well-prepared everything was upon our arrival. The host was extremely kind, responsive, and helpful.Overall, this home exceeded our expectations and provided us with a memorable stay. Perfect getaway location for a large group, catering to all ages

My husband and I hosted our family and friends for a large celebration, and this was the perfect location to do so. The large kitchen and dining room were ideal for our purposes, and the outdoor amenities were amazing once the weather cooperated. The location feels remote, although it is 10 minutes from downtown Honesdale, a grocery store and liquor/beer stores. We had pretty much all the amenities we needed for hosting, and we liked that the property was so child-friendly. Many of our guests commented on how much they liked the property, and we would definitely use it again for hosting a large group. The only downside was the spotty wifi and cell phone reception, but that's to be expected in a rural location, and a landline phone is provided.

The Thirsty Penguin Washer Tournament

The property was perfect for our tournament. 28 friends and family gathered for our 2nd annual tournament. The house and other buildings were perfect for our group. We had 28 guys that each had their own beds. We will definitely consider this property going forward for our get togethers.

Perfect for large group

We were celebrating a 95th birthday with 38 family members. The accommodations were diverse to house young families, couples, and families with adult children. The kitchen had all we needed and the large dining area was spacious with plenty of sturdy chairs, easily moved tables, and included booster seats. We spent 4 nights/5 days there and unfortunately the weather was less than ideal much of the time. However, because of the facility, we still had a fantastic time!! Numerous family members commented on how wonderful the setting/resort was. The proximity to places to visit was also a major plus. The county fair, a nice golf course, a "rail-bike" group activity, antique stores, a within 10-20 minute drives!. As I shared with the contact person, if our mother makes it to 100, we will be back!!

Willow Pond Resort offers an exceptional stay with top-notch amenities. We appreciated the air conditioning in every room, ensuring comfort throughout their stay. Most rooms come with private bathrooms, and the houses are conveniently close to each other. The spacious kitchen and gathering areas, along with ample cooking facilities, received high praise. The resort features a beautiful pond with paddle boats, a large gazebo, and expansive grounds, providing plenty of activities for everyone. Our guests found the resort comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with necessary amenities such as a washer, dryer, and ample parking. Overall, Willow Pond Resort is a fantastic choice for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Perfect setting for family reunion

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful location. We were 24 people ranging in age from 3 to 70+, and there was plenty of space for everyone to come together or to do their own thing. The kitchen was perfect for a big group. And there was a ton of entertainment for the kids. The property management was also excellent, friendly and quick to respond to any questions. We would come back!

Family reunion

The set up worked well for our family group. Everyone had their own sleeping spaces, but we made a lot of use of the large dining/common area, the outdoor pavilion and the spacious kitchen. Plenty of space for the kids to play outdoors and indoors. There were some minor issues (a toilet that ran continuously) but we were in close contact with the owners/staff if necessary and felt very well taken care of. Our group ranged from 2-86, and there was something for everyone.

1st Family Reunion was a hit!

This was the first time we ever booked a property this large. It was also our first attempt at a family reunion. Fortunately everything went really well! The property was perfect for everyone. The kids all played in the center of the property, always in view from the surrounding living spaces. We had plenty of gathering spaces for our activities, outside and inside.

Perfect for our family reunion

We had 3 generations and 30+ people there for a week. It had everything we needed. Kids had plenty of space to play outside. There was enough folding tables and chairs for meal times. Kitchen was well equipped. The main house is older, but we’ll kept and comfortable. Owner was very responsive and helpful with any of our needs. Thanks for letting us stay!

Great place for large groups

We absolutely loved our stay here. Tons of beds for everyone and lots of space. The biggest plus was the industrial kitchen appliances so it was easy to cook huge meals for 40 people. Clean property lots of nice amenities. Overall would highly recommend and would stay again!
