Unfortunately this hotel has not been improved with new management and resort fees — we’ve been repeat guests over the years, but we’re rethinking our next visit. Our room furnishings this time showed significant wear, and the front desk lacked some warmth. It’s also a bummer that the hotel has scrapped the novel dvd machine in the lobby and dvd players in each room (which reduced hotel cable costs), just when physical media is having such a resurgence. Appreciate the coffee and water station in the lobby (coffee only during morning hours however), but the lack of any snacks throughout the day or as a welcome to the room make me wonder about the resort fee. The place has lost some charm with new management which seems to be squeezing customers harder and delivering a little less each visit.
