Cozy and comfortable home away from home!

Escape to a welcoming 2-bedroom house in Hoodsport. Relax in the cozy bedrooms featuring a king and queen bed. There's 2 fold out twin memory foam mattresses for extra sleepers. This retreat offers WiFi, washer/dryer, smart TV, wii U, and an old school record player. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities.

On the side of the house is parking for RV and electrical hookups. Also a cozy fire pit with a bench for resting in the evening.

Lake Kokanee is a short 2 minute drive away. Lake Cushman is 15. Staircase rapids is a 20 min drive. Several trailheads are even closer than that.

Golf course, pickleball, and disc golf course within 5 minutes drive. Plenty of walkable areas nearby.

A hikers dream! Many miles of trails are close by.

Feel free to use our fishing gear, camping chairs, extra disc golf sets, and I'm the warmer months, floaties and iSUPs.

It was a crazy time at lake Cushman due to the Bear Gulge fire, but Rachel kept in communication and was very thoughtful and kind during the weeks leading up to the stay.The only “complaint” we had was that the temps were very warm and there was only one fan in the house that we could find with no a/c…other than that we had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you!

this is a nice, simple place to get away for the weekend. has all the essentials and is very close to multiple lakes and hikes. the host was really communicative and kind. would recommend!

Our family loved staying at this cute little cabin!! It was so clean and cozy and the yard was amazing!! Our girls loved playing in the yard and we all loved all the amenities of this house. It was so cozy at this house. We loved all of it and wished we could stay longer

Great place for family weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this property - lots of linens, good supply of kitchen items, clear instructions for renters, very easy process. We wanted to hike Mount Ellinor and we accomplished that goal and it was great to have a cozy cabin to come back to after a long hike in the snow.

Great weekend away

We had an amazing weekend getaway staying here with our dogs. Check-in was easy and simple, no problems at all. The kitchen is really well equipped with just about everything you could need during your stay. The house was clean, and we especially enjoyed the record player and the great selection of records. There's a nice TV too, though we only turned it on a couple of times during our visit.When we checked in, there was a helpful binder with maps of the area and some information to help you find things nearby. Our two dogs had a blast. The yard is wonderfully wooded and fully fenced in, which was a huge plus for us. If you have a smaller dog, just a heads-up about the gate on the porch – one of our dogs managed to get out because the railing there is a bit wider than the rest. If you do bring your dog, we recommend keeping a towel by the front door to clean their paws, as the wooded area has lots of things that will stick, especially sap.When walking your dogs in the neighborhood, it's good to stay alert because a lot of the dogs aren't leashed, and we had a few rush us on our walks. Overall, this is a great area with tons of hiking around, and we took advantage of the lake just down the hill from the house. We will definitely be back soon.

So many nature trails and so much water. We went during a time seals were out. The owners were super fast to reapond when we sent a message. Definitely recommended if you dont mind being away from phone calls - no bars out there:) Wi-fi gave us the ability to connect if needed. Perfect quiet get away.

Cozy winter getaway

This cozy cabin provided the perfect location for a quiet getaway. The main floor was great for relaxing, movies, and munching on excellent ice cream from the nearby Hoodsport Coffee Company. The bed was extremely comfortable! The fully fenced back yard was perfect for dog romping, and the nearby lake was a beautiful place to walk. Being wintertime the neighborhood was very peaceful, but you could see it would be a fun location in the summer. The hosts are outstanding.

Great cabin in a great neighborhood

This is such a great place! Full kitchen with everything you could possibly need, the most comfortable beds, all the entertainment options. The house was so easy to access- it felt like home. Just a couple minutes away from a private lake, hubby and kids got to go fishing while i got some quiet mom time. Will most definitely be returning! Could've have asked for more!

Perfect Family Getaway

We had such a lovely stay at this peaceful cabin! I soaked in the big bathtub for hours (Epsom salts provided!) while my kids explored the massive collection of games, puzzles and activities that were provided. Everything was perfectly stocked for us to never have to leave, but the area is so beautiful that if you decide to explore, you’ve got the best nature has to offer right there on the peninsula! We were even visited by a family of deer right in the neighborhood. A pass is provided to local private parks so you can explore the secret nooks of one of the country’s most beautiful lakes. 10/10 recommend this cabin , we will certainly be back!

Perfect Vacation Spot ALL Year Long!

Loved the location! It was so peaceful and quiet. There were many outdoor activities like hiking, sitting at the lake, playing on the playground or taking a walk around the neighborhood. It was all within a step out the door or less than a 7 minute drive. The home was cabin felt but like being at home. It was clean, spacious, beds were extremely comfortable(with plenty of choices of sleeping arrangements for the kids) and the two full bathrooms were a plus! Loved the open feel of the kitchen table while cooking our meals. My kids loved running outside the big yard in a well fenced area. The kids loved exploring the many playgrounds; they even met a few friends that lived there!
