Hostellit – Hook Island

”Had a fantastic trip here. Facilities were excellent, however the hotel was looking a little dirty and tired. Considering the price per night, and the extremely high prices for all the food and beverages, I would have thought this would have been a bit more up to scratch. Most of the staff were very friendly.”

”The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was average as its location was not the best. The breakfast area was dirty and more staff are needed to clean tables and provide utensils plates etc. Meals were below average but the service was great. Caters for families but not for adults without children on extended stays.”

”There are cockroaches everywhere. Room is filthy and so not well maintained. Furniture broken, the coach has so many stains, chairs are greasy. The cockroaches crawled on our bed at night and got squished and their guts are everywhere. We were so unhappy about the stay. Even though management offered 25% off, it doesn’t change much. The two night stay left a forever painful stain in our memory. Lesson Learned is to always do thorough research and read reviews. We will definitely NOT stay here...

”Honestly we were disappointed. The bungalows are worn down and dirty - and we tried 3 different ones because we got dropped at the wrong one at first. Then the second one we stayed at one night and the third one for 4 nights (after coming back from another island). All three bungalows were dark, dirty and just tired to look at. Spots and stains everywhere on the curtains, on the sofa (we didnt sit in it once), nighttables, mould on the fan and even stains on the tissue-container. The beds were...
