”This hotel is by the beautiful Kaneohe bay. It offers free breakfast and parking. The rooms are spacious and clean. If you want stay away from the Waikiki huzzle and dont't mind about roosters, this place is for you. We loved our stay.”
”We were extremely pleased with our stay in AC by Marriott Hotel Honolulu. The hotel is located in a very good location if you are going on a cruise. It was a 20 minutes walk to the pier 2 cruise terminal from hotel. The hotel was not in a congested area. It was a quiet hotel and we got a good nights sleep, The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner got the room cool. The area around hotel and the hotel itself was very clean. The staff was so friendly and helpful. ”
”This room was like a little apartment, equipped with everything you would need, washer dryer, microwave that cooks food like a convection oven etc. the rooms were huge, bathroom nice and the bedroom big and spacious. The bed was also comfortable, nothing like clean sheets and hotel room. And OMG the view of the city from the 36th floor was spectacular , almost a 360 in the bedroom. ”We expected a bit more of this hotel. The staff was not very friendly and not flexible at all. They were very strict about not giving the room us before 3pm and not showing any empathy for us who had been awake 24 hours after a flight. The parking was also very expensive, 28$ per night.
The location was good and the housekeeping did their job well. However the room was quite outdated and in a need of a proper facelift.”

However, we didn’t get the room (with 2 beds) that we booked and paid for for the first night as we arrived later in the evening. Had to change rooms in the following morning with quite a lot of hassle and the staff didn’t quite do what they promised upon arrival. Also, we had couple of very big cockroaches in our bathroom that we ended up killing ourselves, which wasn’t nice. Hotel only cleans rooms every 5 days so that...
”This a charming and beautiful old building. The individual rooms and common spaces are inviting, and sitting on the lanai with a view of Honolulu is wonderful! The owners provide a simple but filling breakfast and a coffee station and fridge near the sleeping quarters. All staff were welcoming and receptive to questions. If you’re looking for accommodation away from the Waikiki area, or near UH, this is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again! ”
