”The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was at the rear of the hotel and so we had a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. A very delicious breakfast was included in the tariff. We stayed there for four days and included in those four days was an 80th birthday party. The catering for the birthday reflected the very high quality of the service we experienced during our stay. My wife and I would definitely stay again should we visit from Australia.”

”Nice friendly pub to the west of Huddersfield. Only have 5? rooms to let but very clean with bath as well as a shower (nice to have the option). Good selection of of beers, great staff and food available (even though I didn't get time to eat there). A Co-op supermarket and chippy across the road and other takeaways within a stones throw. A bus stop is directly outside for regular services into town or out to Slaithwaite, Halifax etc.(across the road), but beware that nothing runs much after 11pm...

”The room was modern and spotlessly clean, although compact; kettle, beverages, hairdryer and ironing board provided, along with a good supply of coat hangers in the wardrobe. Very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. A slight downside was that the rear access (fire escape) and kitchen extractor system were right outside our window, so a bit noisy in the late evening and early morning. ”Bonsall is a lovely quiet backwater village. Have wanted to spend time here for a while. The Fountain B & B fitted the bill perfectly. Excellent on all counts. The full English breakfast was particularly splendid. Owner really friendly and helpful. Have booked to stay again in a couple of weeks time. Would highly recommend. ”
