Hopetoun Haven

Our recently completed home is situated on a 5 acre bush block 5kms from Hopetoun. It truly is a 'getaway' place, where you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind you. It's just a few minutes walk from pristine beaches and a few minutes drive from the Fitzgerald River National Park (a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve).

We have two bedrooms with very comfortable queen-size beds. The main bedroom is upstairs, with an ensuite bathroom, walk-in-robe and balcony (with a view out over the surrounding native bushland, and East Mt Barren). There is a very small third bedroom with bunk beds - suitable only for young children, and there is a second bathroom downstairs.

The house is fully self-contained for your stay, with stove, microwave, fridge, cooking utensils and basic pantry items. Linen and towels are provided and a washing machine is available. Free WiFi is available at the house (with Netflix and Chromecast). We also have a super-toasty wood burner for those chilly winter months.


Please note: two security cameras are located on site. One is located at the front of the house; facing away from the house, toward the driveway. The second is attached to the shed, facing down on to the parking area.

Geraldine’s property was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing week in Hopetoun! Loved waking up to the sound of birds and cosying up by the fire of an evening. Property is surrounded by beautiful bushland and is in the perfect spot to gaze at the stars on Crystal clear nights we were lucky enough to experience. Would highly recommend.

Hopetoun Haven is a beautifully presented holiday home. The home is a wonderful coastal getaway with close access to the wonderful Fitzgerald River National Park. We initially booked for 5 days and were lucky enough to have our stay extended by an additional day.

A delightful 3-day stay in a beautifully home situated near the beach (via bush walk trail) and easy access to the Fitz Nat Park. The house is uncommonly clean and well-organised, beautifully appointed, super comfy beds, and the host was friendly and available via text and phone. Can't recommend this property enough; it was superb all around.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was very clean. Beds are super comfy. Location is great. Lots of games available in the house that kept us entertained. Hopetoun is a great place especially if your like nature and want to explore Fitzgerald River NP. Would highly recommend this place and hope to come back soon.

This is such a lovely place to stay and we felt very fortunate to have come across it. Geraldine and Max have put a lot of thought into the house. Comfortable beds, great shower, lovely outside sitting area, fully equipped kitchen; it feels like a home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area and would love to stay again if we are back in Australia.

Had a wonderful 5 nights at Hopetoun. Very comfortable and warm house with everything we needed, beds really comfy. We appreciated the wine, honey & chokkies. We enjoyed walking parts of the Hakea trail and also climbing east Mt Barren. Would definitely stay here again. Thankyou!!

Beautiful coastal bush block with barely anyone else in sight. Clean, tidy and spacious for a family of 4 with teenage sons. Beaches and Fitzgerald national park on the doorstep. Loved our 4 night stay here.
