”We've just returned from a 9 day stay in this property in Westward Ho! The property is exactly as described, and very accurate to the images - in fact we found the views even better in real life than the photos here. The flat was very well equipped and is in an excellent location with the beach, pubs, bars and shops all a few minutes away. Communication with the owner was straightforward and effective, and access instructions very clear.Overall very highly recommended.”

”I was away for work and my fiancees nan had passed away the day before my travel so she joined me for a few days on this trip. The first evening was lovely and sunny and we went and watched the sunset and had tea out, when returning to the cabin we found the other cabins were now hosting guests. We had a nice evening and went to sleep, we were then woken at 5am by the most horrific argument we had ever heard that went on for a full 90 minutes between the crack heads that had booked the other two...

”A truly excellent and charming location. A charming, independent garden outside with a fire pit, table, and chairs. The interior is even more magnificent, well-maintained, and above all, equipped with everything you need... meticulously crafted. The table that converts to a bed was a simple but brilliant idea, the bathroom is enormous for a cabin, and the stove is truly wonderful. The only downside is the very narrow road leading to it; unfortunately, there's not much you can do about it... but...

”A comfortable clean compact cottage in an incredible location close to Hartland Quay and Hartland Point, the only minor issue being the sharp entry and exit to and from the drive. The cottage being upside down with the living area on the first floor and bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor is well equipped kitchen wise and an enormous double bed and dog friendly.Overall a very pleasant comfortable and welcoming cottage.”

”Enough space for 6 of us, 2 adults, 3 kids and a dog. The house was arranged with the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs and the living quarters upstairs. The boys enjoyed the football table and PS4, and the dog enjoyed the small private garden and the enclosed field across the road. The property was clean and well looked after, and whilst very close to the House, we didn't hear any noise from our neighbours.”

”We had a great half term stay! The apartment was spotlessly clean, the furniture v comfortable, the beds were firm and 100% cotton sheets, wifi great. The view is wonderful, sunsets every night and a balcony to sit and watch the world go by. Remember to bring your binoculars! The position of the apartment is fantastic, no need to use the car, unless visiting nearby attractions, which are numerous. We hope to be back :-)”

”Great little apartment with fantastic views across the estuary. Location fantastic with a ten minute walk to Instow and the beach. Apartment very well equipped. Lovely little touches with decorations ( almost too many not leaving much work top space in the kitchen). Up to date photos would be good on cottages.comMay be a bit cosy with 4 adults (we were 3 adults and dog )Slightly nit picking, would have helped to have settee across the lounge facing TV. Got a bit of neck ache. ( Especially if 3...

”The cottage is a bit tired but well equiped, clean and comfortable. The instructions to find the key were terrible! it says get them from a key safe padlocked to the front railings at the front of the house and they were at the back, attached to the house. Google maps cannot find the address so we followed the instructions given. It mentions a car show room that it is not there anymore (a convenient Tesco instead). I called the number given and was asked for a lot of information including my...

”The room, was filthy dirty, bed sheets smelt of mould wet dog. Cups dirty with coffee stains. Toilet filthy. Shower filthy, floor so dirty made your feet black. Walls all damaged. Smelt really bad in the room. Balcony outside extremely dangerous and broken.
Floor uneven. No lights in the dark. Extremely noisy. Beds uncomfortable. Stains on sheets.
Dust and dirt every where. The towels didn’t smell clean. Extremely unhappy. I didn’t take hardly any photos to proved as I’m sure the staff know.”

”We absolutely loved the treehouse and woodland. Exactly as pictured and completely private! My dog especially enjoyed the lake and exploring the woodland at her pace. Lovely wildlife to see. We saw a kingfisher, treecreeper, a family of moorhens and possibly a baby crane. Will definitely come back.
Nothing to be improved”
